Personally, I hope F*ckerberg goes broke. He’s another arrogant Capo.
Besides feeling good that it happened what would a total collapse of Facebook do to overall economy?
Fakebook is a sewer. I hope it goes bankrupt.
It is not vital infrastructure. It makes little money versus its stock price. It employs few people.
Really, I see no issues with it being bankrupt aside from secondary impacts in peoples minds which might cause a general pullback.
He should be in jail! He did not create Facebook, it was our government that created LifeLog.
On the exact day Facebook was registered as a company, the Pentagon killed another project called ‘Lifelog’ which was designed to be a spying network of every action undertaken by every person.
This means he is an inside Trader and certainly much worse.
As a business owner I can tell you it will up production across the board.
How much time is wasted by my employees screwing around on Facebook / Twitter / *.social media when they think no one is looking is incredible. I’m almost to the point of just demanding all phones and other devices stay in their cars it’s gotten so bad.
IMHO, nothing. What is their net gain to society?
Like the large number of California politicians who see Facebook's success as a validation of their own socialist policies. They'll be blaming Trump for deliberately tanking one of "their" companies. :)
Total collapse will never happen.
Personally, I think Zuckerberg has probably three years of CEO ‘bossing’ left. The board will look over the direction ahead and realize that they don’t need a techno-geek....but a full-time diplomat and business executive.
There’s supposed to be an alternative to Facebook coming out by the end of the year in Europe (you’d pay to be a member, but it’d be 100-percent private data). My guess is that they will lose 10-to-15 percent of their active users when this occurs.
Between that, the 2020 election, and likely continuation of ‘fake’ news...Facebook will stumble, the stock drops by 50-percent, and likely get bought by someone (maybe Google...maybe Microsoft).
A ‘Total’ collapse wont happen until after there is a replacement social media platform, and even then its extremely likely it wont be total unless they shutter their own doors and pull their own plugs. There are far too many stagnant users, in my mind most of which are boomers and some gen-xers, who will simply keep using it out of habit to communicate with and stalk friends, family, and acquaintances.
I do think that facebook is easily beatable, if not at least vulnerable. I wouldn’t want to be the ones moving to the top of the heap though. I’m not siding with FB at all, but that business if chock full of social, political, and legal pitfalls. It’s not like it was in the 90s/2000s when people just looked at the internet as a medium for information and not something to attack, exploit, and malign.
“Im almost to the point of just demanding all phones and other devices”
There are ways to block cell access in the building and FB can be blocked on you network. Demanding phones etc is too aggressive and bad for morale.
Love it!
It is great to see that millions of people are fleeing the Leftist Facebook.
FB is down $46.69 at this moment.
It will end up like MySpace. It is probably still around but nobody cares.
Facebook is so yesterday. Now they all use SnapChat and that will be replaced by the next fad.
Hardly any of my “friends” post anything anymore. It used to be heavy activity with so many people posting about what’s for dinner, vacations etc. Now nobody seems to care.
When email came out everyone was always sending jokes and stupid stuff constantly. You never see that anymore either. The same thing happened with fax machines. People were always sending funny stuff.
What is their net gain to society?
Wasted time by employees.
Distraction from family and friends.
Propagandization by Zuk & Clan.
Lost friendships over politics, bragging & drama queening.
Lost privacy.
Giving away personal data (photo gps data, facial recognition).
Cold food after photographing it.
Many cats get put in costumes.

The world as we know it Today, and the day after Facebook or even Tesla collapse, will be exactly the same.No one weill die because they can’t share their kids birthday photos. No one will die by being forced to buy a cheaper car.
Besides feeling good that it happened what would a total collapse of Facebook do to overall economy?

It would improve it, because numb-skulls would get off their stupid facebook pages and actually accomplish something in their lives.
Ridin’ the MySpace Express..!
