FOX news just announced Articles of Impeachment for Rosenstein have been just filed.
“I just filed a resolution with @Jim_Jordan and several colleagues to impeach Rod Rosenstein.”

Sessions was lured into recusing himself on false pretenses, aided by Democrats pressuring him into it to isolate Trump and effectively overturn the 2016 election.

What is the legal theory for this? POTUS nominated him to serve as Deputy AG. POTUS or the AG can dismiss him.
Congress has authority to impeach judges, because those are life-time appointments.
This would seem to be another useless Congressional waist of time.
He may not be impeached, and he certainly won’t be convicted, but a lot of good information will be made public.
A simple majority in the House can impeach a civil officer of the government; 2/3 majority in the Senate can then remove.
I don’t see 2/3 of the Senate voting to remove Rosenstein, but if a simple majority does, that would be political cover for Trump to fire him.
In a just world this would be a cake walk.
In ours, I won’t hold my breath . . .

The Senate held a trial.
There is 0% chance that the senate votes to convict Rosenstein. It’s a waste of time.

It gives Trump more ammo to fire him but he won’t. How about re-assigning him pending the outcome? Let him keep an eye on the Guam office and bring in a white hat interim his post and watch Mueller disintigrate.

You will see House hearings and more as the heat is put on the Deep State players.
This is a war. Subpoena power with hearings leading up to the mid terms gives the GOP a Full House. The Deep State is holding deuces.
