The Obama DOJ labeled Carter Page as engaged in clandestine activities and collaborating with foreign intelligence to the FISA court about 2 years ago and yet nobody has arrested him or indicting him with any sort of espionage crime, not even Mueller has done anything about it.
Some of the idiots on the left think Page must be collaborating with Special Counsel and that’s why he hasn’t been charged yet but even if he was doing so, they wouldn’t be allowing him to going around on television shows giving interviews, they would shut that down.
Carter Page was the vehicle by which to spy on the Trump campaign
Either:
1. He was an innocent man that the Obama DOJ targeted to spy on Trump which is illegal
2. Or he is a plant by the FBI sent to Trump campaign as a Trojan horse whereby they could present him as a spy so that they could spy on Trump which is illegal

He is not a spy. They needed a target to marry to the Steele dossier and he served that purpose.
Maybe the Intelligence Bureaucracy has something on him ...and doens’t want to use it yet.

Anything detrimental to Trump would be in the NY Times the next morning. This is political not criminal. They do not want convictions, they want Trump.
When was the last time a democrat was arrested for anything, especially relating to crimes against the state? The few times I can recall, they would be charged with some trumped up charges because they wouldn’t follow the dems playbook. Seeing as how the agencies have become pretty much an arm of the left, they’re not going to arrest themselves.

Consider the most obvious alternative. Obama had no interest in Carter Page, his objective was to find a way to insert a government surveillance operation inside the Trump campaign. The easiest way for DOJ and FBI to get what Obama wanted was to take a patsy like Page, lie to the FISA Court, and walk away with a FISA warrant.
Wasn’t he used by the FBI to help catch the Russians?
My guess, they had him targeted in. Ran an operation at him and used, without his knowledge, the FISA warrant to check info regarding him. Once Trump was a shoe in, they turned the focus onto Trump once they cleared Page of problems, hoping he would back them into something on Trump. He was an unwitting mole (dupe), opened the door to more monitoring and no one shut it because once they did, the access would be gone.
These guys are too smart for their own good by a half.
Is it possible that Carter Page is just an idiot, and the FBI stumbled upon him and decided to use him in their episode?

Stefan Halper, who worked secretly for the FBI and probably CIA, was the guy who contacted Sam Clovis and recommended Carter Page and George Papadopoulos.
Halper is Emeritus Professor at Cambridge and has worked for Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Bush I. He was accused of CIA-connected spying on the Jimmy Carter campaign. Halper is very well-connected.
He WAS a spy... for the FBI. Helped them take out some RUSSIANS.
Because the Evil FBI set Page up several years before this as a spy while he helped them make a case against some Russians, the Evil FBI could have placed him in any Republican presidential campaign.
Then they could have filed a similar FISC app to spy on any campaign that might win the nomination to run against Clinton.

You may be entirely correct, and if he does, and all his was coordinated with the involvement of two separate intelligence agencies, we have an infestation that's going to take a lot to eradicate. Maybe it's just being naive, but growing up I never thought of our intelligence agencies in the same manner as the Stasi or the KGB. Now I feel that aren't that different from the aforementioned.
The DOJ would eventually have to show its evidence once charges are filed.

It would expose what a sham operation the DOJ is running.
They are trying to run out the clock.
The Deep State put him into the Trump campaign and that’s why he can smile so big on TV and doesn’t even have an ATTORNEY!
