Parents Denied Right to See Pro-LGBT Videos Forced on Their Children
The New American ^ | 09 July 2018 | Steve Byas

A lawsuit against a Pennsylvania school district will be filed later this month, if the district continues its refusal to allow parents to see a series of pro-LGBT videos that their children were forced to watch in April. In a June 22 letter to the East Penn School District, Liberty Counsel attorney Richard Mast said that Pennsylvania state law dictates that parents are entitled to all such curriculum information.

Almost three thousand students at Emmaus High School were required to see the videos during the school district’s LGBT “Unity Week.” Students could not opt out, and not only were parents not allowed to see the videos, they were not even informed that the videos were being shown.

The national LGBT lobbying group GLSEN sponsored the “Day of Silence” across the United States. The four videos that the students were forced to watch were sponsored by the Gay Straight Alliance Club.

If even 75% of the parents felt like you, and took action not to send their kids to that school that day, or even after, do you know what would happen? The school would change it’s policies. I’ve seen it.

The article says the parents weren't even aware it was being shown.

criminal behavior

those ‘officials’ should be removed from office immediately - parents should remove their children from going to those schools till that happens.

and why are their children still in the schools?

I see people who expect that the schools are going to give them and their children what they want whether it be for special accommodations, 504s, and they are shocked when they don’t get what they are SUPPOSED to get.

Schools are there for the convenience, employment and benefits of the teachers and admin. Everything else that a child gets is a bonus point not a requirement.

In this toxic world sending your child to school is an act against the child. Do I think that there are wonderful and effective teachers and caring administrators? Absolutely, but they are caught in a system that is poisonous.

Schools are extremely powerful politically.

Teachers tell the students what to think and who to vote for (when not whining about being underpaid - a lie).

The children then tell their largely uniformed parents what the teachers said.

Couple that with the endorsement and the huge financial input the union provides and politicians are pre-screened to be subservient to the union.

Many/most parents do not have the time or resources to provide non-government education.

To answer your question - Trump is in the fight of his life, We The People must take on the teachers union.

Beyond the rank anti-American indoctrination, the public schools commandeer students’ time without teaching them even the basics they need to be be smart, capable and informed citizens.

Occupy youth from 6-18 without educating them and it becomes nearly impossible, for example, to teach them in adulthood to write coherently.

Why should I have to lie about it? I’m pulling my children out of this school until this wave of perversion has passed. You do NOT have the right to corrupt my children.

End of story.

I have over 20 links to studies to document the incidence of admission or recall.

A few psychiatric professionals share your conclusion that it is 100%.

Many memories are suppressed and indeed some aren't recalled until much later in life (30s).

Several of these late recalls of same sex molestations are in fact hetro.

To be sure, molestation itself is NOT determinative of life behavior.

We lost the culture because we became too civil.
I once saw a parent punch one of my football coaches for mistreating his son right in front of the Principal. The man did no jail time and the Coach apologized.
A sock to the jaw is often the perfect remedy for idiocy.

“To be sure, molestation itself is NOT determinative of life behavior.”

It can induce same-sex attraction disorder, which, until treated, determines a great deal.

The point is:

Just because you were molested doesn’t mean you will become homosexual.

“The point is: Just because you were molested doesn’t mean you will become homosexual.”

That’s the less significant part of the point.

The more significant part is that everyone who develops SSAD was molested or seduced in his pre-adult years.

Some are molested and don’t develop it, but no one develops it unless he was molested.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

but they(the good teachers) are caught in a system that is poisonous

My wife retired from primary spec ed teaching a year ago. She says she was able to continue in it because spec ed is the ugly stepchild of the school system and administration ignores it so she could actually teach real academic things to those of her kids who could absorb them. Some of her kids were reading and ciphering way beyond their peers when "mainstreamed" after a year or two with the wife. She could use phonics and real traditional arithmetic and other antiquated and banned things.

That’s public school. Why even worry about it? get your kids/grandkids OUT of public school if you give a damn about their education.

Yes and she was in a sick system.

Think of the good she could have done in a good private system.
