A lawsuit against a Pennsylvania school district will be filed later this month, if the district continues its refusal to allow parents to see a series of pro-LGBT videos that their children were forced to watch in April. In a June 22 letter to the East Penn School District, Liberty Counsel attorney Richard Mast said that Pennsylvania state law dictates that parents are entitled to all such curriculum information.
Almost three thousand students at Emmaus High School were required to see the videos during the school district’s LGBT “Unity Week.” Students could not opt out, and not only were parents not allowed to see the videos, they were not even informed that the videos were being shown.
The national LGBT lobbying group GLSEN sponsored the “Day of Silence” across the United States. The four videos that the students were forced to watch were sponsored by the Gay Straight Alliance Club.

I would remove the child and either homeschool, or send to a CFA Charter school (free) if you live in right state or area. The CFA are free public schools, that choose to teach our Founding documents, real history, and the Arts, teaching children to be grateful to be Americans. I have a family member who sends her son to one in Lake Lure, NC.
There are good Christian schools, too, however, somewhat expensive... anything but the State Public Schools that are communist/socialist and demeaning of our nation, plus anti-God, and perverse sexually teaching unfit lies.
They seek to normalize their behavior to achieve easier access to MOLEST YOUR CHILDREN!

I cannot believe there are not other avenues to see or watch the video. Can’t be the only school district in the world that played it. And of 3000 students there isnt one that videotaped some of it on their phone? If even for there own juvenile reasons.
Wow—that’s really out there. I wonder if the Trump admin will have juice left to address the educational establishment once the country and world have been saved in the immediate sense.
Is that right? I'll bet I could find a way to opt out. And I'll bet double that that I could find a way to opt my kids out.
Many school boards are useless. Made up of the retired teachers nobody liked, taking anything to them is likely to have a negative result.

The PPRA was written to protect the rights of parents and students in two specific ways. First, any material used by students in ED funded surveys, analyses, or evaluations will be made available to parents to inspect prior to use with their child. Secondly, it ensures that schools and contractors acquire written parental consent before a minor student is required to participate in ED funded surveys, analyses or evaluations which may reveal personal information about the following:
Political affiliations or beliefs of the student or student’s parent;
Mental or psychological problems of the student or student’s family;
Illegal, anti-social, self-incriminating, or demeaning behavior;
Critical appraisals of others with whom respondents have close family relationships;
Legally recognized privileged relationships, such as with lawyers, doctors, or ministers;
Religious practices, affiliations, or beliefs of the student or parents; or
Income, other than as required by law to determine program eligibility.
Parents are given the right to grant permission for their child to participate in the surveys, analyses or evaluations requiring the above content or they also have the choice to opt their child out of sharing such information with the school.
Glad I was home schooled. I listened to my friends who weren’t and it was scary with what they had to put up with.
