            BE KIND TO STRANGERS

Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers [in the brotherhood being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2 A clique is an exclusive group, one to which not everyone is welcome. Being "in" makes us feel important, but being "out" can be very painful. I find that even the church is full of cliques. As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, you and I are instructed in the Word of God to make strangers feel welcome, to be hospitable toward them, and not to mistreat them in any way. This is especially important in church. I wonder how many people finally get up enough courage to visit a church on Sunday morning but never go back because everyone there ignored them. Of course, not all churches are cold and uncaring. Many are warm, friendly, and loving; and those are the ones that will flourish. Everyone wants to be accepted, made to feel welcome, and loved. God gave the Israelites specific instructions not to wrong or oppress strangers, telling them to remember that they were once strangers in the land themselves (See Exodus 22:21). We have all been the new person at work or at school, in a neighborhood or a church. We should remember how much we appreciated those who took the initiative to be friendly with us. We must always remember the golden rule: "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you" (Luke 6:31 NIV). Hi - yeppers. Right now other pilot is doing it, taking a break but the turn around is about ten minutes before I’m up again. I do about ten then swap off and take a break then some more. I get about $75 a jump, pays better than Frontier and can add some to Jim for Freeper.

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.

G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Thanks, lightman...and to you and yours as well, a Blessed Lord’s Day.
Glad you are enjoying lower temps and humidity.
We have been having unusual high temps of late...mid 70s and pushing 80. Fortunately I already had multiple fans and it’s tolerable. Almost every cart at the store has a fan in it.
They are saying some rain each day for the next week. I sure hope so! Lots of lightning strike fires state wide. Most fires are left to burn unless they threaten building.

The last week has been so hot that I was afraid to take Penny anywhere (she’s no spring chicken you know) At one point, my sister’s outside thermometer read 107 degrees...it was in the afternoon sunshine but still.
Anyway, today was GORGEOUS, and we went to one of our old haunts to build up the stamina again, and then I( took her home and took Blue out for a glorious ride through the back roads of SE MA, lunch in Plymouth, an ice cream cone in pembroke, and on to home. It was a magnificent day!
