Actually, it’s hot, hot, and hot some more here lately. No Spring for us this year, just summer to the extreme. UGH! Storms knocked the heat back a little today but it’ll be back with a vengeance tomorrow.

Glad you enjoyed the pix. There’s just so much there to photograph and it’s hard to do everything justice.

Not a really fun afternoon but it all worked out well in the end. Comast had notified us we needed to swap out our cable boxes and modems for new, upgraded ones and that’s what I did today. Fortunately we didn’t get stuck with defective ones like has happened in the past. Just had to spend a short time on the phone to get the modem working correctly.

But luck was pushed. I wasn’t sure if I’d get to the Comcast office for the longest time. I woke up to rumbles and booms, and pounding on the roof. One bodacious storm after another rolled over us and I wasn’t walking out the door in that mess!
And it looks like more on the way for later tonight.

Dang, it just dawned on me I forgot to answer your question about the eagles.

I honestly haven’t kept a close watch on the Decorah eagles this year. Last time I’d checked on them, they’d been branching for several days and I figured they’d fledged by now. One had “fludged” but made it back to the nest.

I’ve run up on so many cool nest cams over the years, I can’t pay close attention to all of them. LOL! So I watch a few closely and others periodically. These days I watch European nests mostly.

We had storm after storm here this afternoon. Lightning right on top of us and I couldn’t get outside with the camera. LOL
