The organization was of business owners in Lexington. Her job was to promote the town. She did the reverse of promoting it ...and now every Trump supporting family traveling through is not going to stop and buy a thing.
A nd she did a great job of advertising it from California to Florida and every point in-between.

I think the reason for the liberal behavior can be written up to the presence of Washington & Lee as well as VMI. Now you may ask “How can VMI be a liberal institution?”
A number of the instructors have no military background and are creatures of academia - much like Wilkinson’s husband. The rank and file cadets of VMI are likely not liberals as well as a number of the officers - but the professors and support staff are probably to the Left.
It’s also worth mentioning that Lexington is a beautiful town. I’ve been there. Loved it. But liberals love that kind of town too. It makes them feel rural/small town but yet urbane and cultured.

So Angels27 is correct. The Red Hen owner could legally refuse to serve Sanders. That doesn't mean she should have refused service, that was just stupid on her part. She will have to reverse and apologize or rely on just libs for her business from now on. There are plenty of libs who will go there from DC, so that might work.
