I am going to have to say I don't care for this Tweet. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with what The Red Hen did at all. That said, they are a small business owned by American citizens, and they have the legal right to refuse service. I don't feel it's appropriate for the President to call them out. Him calling them out and whether or not it's appropriate will be the story in the news all day now. Instead, the story in the news prior to that was that she was kicked out. The Democrats were trying to defend it on TV and online which was harmful to them. Conservatives were on TV and online sticking up for her. Conservatives would vote with their wallets. They were the proper surrogates for him.
If the converse happened and a conservative kicked out Obama's Press Secretary, of course the media would be up in arms about it, but I think we wouldn't like it if Obama called it out.

Do you like anything the president does or says?

I think I’m glad he hits back.

POTUS Can’t win. The other day people were angry at him for not coming out in defense of someone else.
He does not take kindly and will speak out at his people being treated this way.
This is why we elected him. That place deserves what it gets. Perhaps they should think twice about the repercussions of their behavior.

What you like or dislike doesn’t matter. Your opinion about the President is irrelevant.

"That said, they are a small business owned by American citizens, and they have the legal right to refuse service." President Trump is an American citizen and has the legal right to comment on establishments that poorly treat his employees.

Just so y’all know, the farm who supplies the Red Hen is called Eftoo Farms. They are on Facebook. Send them a message.

If a restaurant refused to serve one of my employees
simply because they didn't like ME, then I'd make it my mission in life to run them out of business.
It is essential to keep this story in the news. Democrats are now refusing to serve Republicans because the law doesn't allow them to refuse service to black people anymore.

Isn’t your point moot? Show me where any restaurant over Obama’s reign of terror where any liberal was refused service...

On TV the Red Hen looks like its falling apart. Peeling paint. Bird $hit all over the frayed awnings. I wouldnt eat there even without the huckabee-Sanders thing

I agree with you. It is petty for the President to criticize how a restaurant looks. Red Hen was already getting a lot of justified criticism for not serving Sanders.

I agree. The media is going to have a field day. Sarah handled it properly. She didn’t bring it to the media’s attention, an employee did. President Trump should have stayed quiet. I didn’t like that it happened but it is in the same spirit as the baker and the cake. I was happy they won the day. Consumers in that area have the power to vote against this restaurant owner with their money and not patronizing the establishment.
To: Pinkbell
Why do they have a legal right not to serve her? The only reason the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the baker was because his religious views were treated so poorly in previous courts.
To: Pinkbell
There are only two sides.
Pick one.
