Yes. This will be needed. Even when it’s adult sex robots, one should be careful normalizing and facilitating this behavior. It’s dangerous when people forget how to relate to other human beings, and only know how to treat them like battery operated machines one can discard. Dangerous, because it’s so easy to do, but difficult to reverse.

“This sex doll is guaranteed to {appear to} be 18 years or older”.
Or They could find women that are 18 years old that still look like children and model them after them.
That's the problem. There needs to be subjective standards on what is a child like feature vs an adult. Because some women have child-like features.

I’m sure Congress believes they can act on this weird situation but I’m equally sure the Constitution doesn’t allow it. Tenth Amendment says the states must decide this.

Agree. The concept of such a “doll” is horrid, but this is similar to an “assault weapon.”
Let’s consider if this law targeted devices favored by women. Can Congress ban “dolls” with appendages that are smaller than some amount because that’s the same as a woman having sex with a child?
Typical politician election-year “feelgood” legislation.
My view is that this is the first step, with the ultimate goal of making any device of this kind that would be targeted toward men illegal, while keeping the sex robots for women legal.
