Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s forthcoming report has concluded former FBI Director James Comey “dramatically” broke with bureau norms in its handling of the Clinton email investigation, according to Bloomberg News.
“While we did not find that these decisions were the result of political bias on Comey’s part, we nevertheless concluded that by departing so clearly and dramatically from FBI and department norms, the decisions negatively impacted the perception of the FBI and the department as fair administrators of justice,” the watchdog head writes.

Self preservation is a huge motivator in the life of James Comey.
That seems like a reasonable characterization. My one enduring impression of Comey is that he’s a misfit and a moron. It would be kind of odd to accuse him of political bias when you have Hillary Clinton and many prominent Democrats still running around in 2018 blaming him for her loss in the 2016 election.
The ENTIRE swamp still needs draining.

So allowing Clinton to not testify under oath and to give immunity to her henchmen was not politically motivated? Nor was Comey’s exoneration memo composed long before she was interviewed not political? And his leaking of documents to his friend to trigger an independent counsel to investigate Trump was not political? We’ve been played folks. DOJ cannot investigate itself. Rosenstine’s fingerprints are all over this saving himself, Comey and the DOJ/FBI reputation.

I agree, and could further say that all of the political figures have a political bias, so what does it mean to say that one of has a bias?
Comey was not qualified to represent DOG when he gave his conclusions about Hillary. Something’s seriously wrong there, perhaps that DOJ allowed his conclusions to stand without comment.
