IG Leaks – Media Frame Clinton/Obama Defense: James Comey as “Insubordinate”…

While no-one has yet to see the actual Inspector General Mike Horowitz report outlining how the DOJ and FBI handled the Hillary Clinton email investigation, the media are beginning to shape the narrative

In a summary of Bill Priestap’s testimony, via The Hill, the narrative begins by focusing on James Comey: “Priestap “completely” backed up everything that Comey said, according to a source familiar with his testimony.” The narrative construct gains clarity with a report from ABC highlight James Comey as “insubordinate”:

(Via ABC) The Justice Department’s internal watchdog has concluded that James Comey defied authority at times during his tenure as FBI director, according to sources familiar with a draft report on the matter.

One source told ABC News that the draft report explicitly used the word “insubordinate” to describe Comey’s behavior. Another source agreed with that characterization but could not confirm the use of the term.

In the draft report, Inspector General Michael Horowitz also rebuked former Attorney General Loretta Lynch for her handling of the federal investigation into Hillary Clinton‘s personal email server, the sources said. (more)

No. This is a Deep State spin hoping to downplay the horrendous damage the IG report is going to do.

It’s gonna be bad.

If that is true, then Trump is indeed guilty of high crimes. And which crimes are those? Why, failing to perform the oath of office by being derelict in his duties to defend the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

If Spygate was an attempted coup by the Hussein regime to overthrow the legally constituted government of the USA, than that leveraged revolutionary act is treason. All three branches are pledged to defend the constitution - failure to do so by any falls to the next responsible level.

Trump has no (personal) choice in this matter if he is to uphold the laws and duties of his office. If not, then he should be removed, and the responsibilities assumed by those who will act to defend the country.

“Rosenstein is in charge. He calls the shots. “

That’s why Jeff calls him sir.

He would have had to be insubordinate to Lynch/Obama. Why didn’t they fire him? Comey was following orders and I don’t think he will take this characterization too well. It is to protect Lynch/Obama.

Comey will take the characterization of being "insubordinate" because it isn't a criminal referral.

It all falls apart when McCabe goes nuclear on them for making him the target of the legal prosecution and public humiliation.

I say he doesn’t go quietly.

“After DoJ and FBI get through with their review of the IG report, whole chapters will be redacted and everybody will be exonerated.”

The thing will read like a fairy tale when they are through pencil whipping it.

IG conclusion: It is Comey’s fault that hiLIARry lost the election by announcing they were re-opening the investigation. Everything else was on the up and up.

Remember Sessions said he was waiting for the IG report and then he would decide if a second SC was warranted. So Jeff, what have you decided and why?

Dollars to donuts, Jeff decides that DOJ and FBI can investigate themselves. Sessions needs to go.

Eyores such as yourself need to be held to account. Are you not one of the many who believe the Hussein treachery was indeed an attempted overthrow of the US government?

Then how do you reconcile that with a failure to act by those charged with constitutional responsibilities? Are they not derelict in their duties to protect the country against all enemies, foreign or domestic?

Are you suggesting that Trump is negligent in not actively prosecuting the war effort?

“Insubordination” and “rebuke” for criminal actions, I’m not at all satisfied.

The justice department will redact so much as the report will be a white wash of Justice. Note: The FBI serves under the Justice Department and thus is part of the Justice Department.

If they do this all Trump needs to do is declassify all of it and it would show the corruption and collusion within the Justice Department and give legitimate reason to start firing people, starting with Sessions and work down.

The fix is in. Strzok still works at the FBI. Contrast that to McCabe who was fired almost a month before the McCabe IG report was released. Priestap and Strzok have synced their stories. Comey and/or McCabe will take the fall. The Deep State is still firmly in charge of the Jeff Sessions DOJ and FBI.

If that is true, then Trump is indeed guilty of high crimes.

No not at all. I wouldn't assume that Trump isn't doing the best that he can under the circumstances...or that he doesn't have some future action planned to fight the Deep State.

Not sure why you would.

I agree with you. If it wasn't bad, there would be no need for 400 pages of report.

“Remember Sessions said he was waiting for the IG report”

Knowing full well it would take forever and give him plenty of time to do nothing but dick off and hold a title.
