Special counsel Robert Mueller's team is asking witnesses to turn in their phones in order to access encrypted messaging applications, sources tell CNBC. Mueller's team has indicated it wants to examine private conversations on WhatsApp, Confide, Signal and Dust, sources say. Fearing a subpoena, the witnesses have complied with the request and have given over their phones.

Lololol....Mine got “Hammered.”-
“I would not turn over my phone.”
I would...I’d put all the hammered pieces in a nice neat box for them tied with a bow!
Smash it with a hammer first.
ROFL
The Clintons obtained 100s of FBI files on political opponents, and faced no consequences. Hillary's Rose Law firm billing records were lost during the Whitewater investigation - only to be found much later on a table in the White House living quarters. Bill gets accused of rape, by a very credible woman who worked for his campaign. Bill lies about Monica Lewinsky on international television, and Hillary claims Bill was ‘ministering to youth’. Hillary makes $100,000 trading cattle futures on a $1000 investment, although she's never done it before and has no experience. After Vince Foster dies, Hillary's sycophants empty information from his office, while an investigation was ongoing. Bill hangs out with convicted pedophile Epstein, and flies on his private jet. “It depends on what the meaning of he word ‘is’ is. Benghazi. Subversion of Bernie's campaign. Setting up a private server for state department email, and ‘losing’ 32,000 subpoenaed email messages. Etc. etc.
Unless you have a legit search warrant, elucidating a specific crime, I hand over Nothing
Frederick Forsyth - “The Veteran”
In the Watergate era, Charles Colson went to prison for having just one FBI file in his possession.
Comey and Rosenstein are witnesses. Will they have to turn in their phones? I suspect that the special council would have to get a court order for each phone.
.... You mean the devices that the FBI used to spy on Trump and are continuing to spy on Republicans and Trump Associates ..... Those Phones? What's the matter .... Afraid somebody will be listening in?
At the beginning of Trump's presidency Mitch McConnell said, on national news, that he would not allow President Trump to make any recess appointments. From then on McConnell has used an old parliamentary trick to keep the Senate in session even when they were on break.
Now, especially after Paul Ryan stated he thought spies in the Trump campaign were good, it would not surprise me to see that some of Hillary's e-mails were about the early campaign and setting up the spying, with the recipients including Ryan and McConnell.
The FBI's response?
Examine the server? No.
Warn the Trump campaign of possible compromises in their computer systems? No.
Insert spies in the Trump campaign? Bingo.
How anyone can read anything but malevolence from this just boggles my mind.
Not without a Court order saying all the Hillary people must turn in their phones and Lap Tops. Bob!
Mark Levin pointed this out a few weeks ago in an interview with a former DOJ colleague. Somebody with standing has to contest SC and Rosenweasel. People aren't going to contest them all the way to SCOTUS without major financial help. Some low level staffer up to debt near their eyeballs aren't going to do this. Manafort is sort of going down this road, but only made the case so far that his case was outside of the Russian collusion scope letter. Not that it is unconstitutional.
Hillary has my phone. Guess what she did with it.
Request?
Screw.
And that phone goes into the River, or gets the sledge hammer treatment.
The last thing anyone needs is the Feds going through your stuff.
Same here.
You know, it used to be just Bill and Hillary, and their minions. Look at it now. It involves top people in the FBI, and I’m having to think the Justice Department too at this point.
What do they have on Sessions, Justice Roberts, others?
