Climate change is over.
[snip]
Judged by deeds rather than words, most national governments are backing away from forced-marched decarbonization. ...President Trumps ostentatious withdrawal from the Paris Agreement merely ratified a trend long becoming evident.

Climate alarm is like a car alarma blaring noise people are tuning out.
This outcome was predictable. Political scientist Anthony Downs described the downward trajectory of many political movements in an article for the Public Interest, Up and Down With Ecology: The Issue-Attention Cycle, published in 1972, long before the climate-change campaign began. ...Mr. Downs discerned a five-stage cycle through which political issues pass regularly.
The first stage involves groups of experts and activists calling attention to a public problem, which leads quickly to the second stage, wherein the alarmed media and political class discover the issue. The second stage typically includes a large amount of euphoric enthusiasmyou might call it the dopamine stageas activists conceive the issue in terms of global peril and salvation.
[snip]
Then comes the third stage: the hinge.: a gradually spreading realization that the cost of solving the problem is very high indeed.
[snip]
...This third stage, Mr. Downs continues, becomes almost imperceptibly transformed into the fourth stage. In the final stage, Mr. Downs concludes, an issue that has been replaced at the center of public concern moves into a prolonged limboa twilight realm of lesser attention or spasmodic recurrences of interest.
Environmental issues suffer this decline, because solving such issues involves painful trade-offs that committed climate activists would rather not make.
Treating climate change as a planet-scale problem that could be solved only by an international regulatory scheme transformed the issue into a political creed for committed believers.
Causes that live by politics, die by politics.

He's not saying there's "no climate change," but that the Climate Change Activists blew all their political capital on "solutions" that achieve about zero and cost -- well --- everything you've got.
And now, after 30 years (1988-2018) it's maxed out of our "Issue Attention Cycle". RIP.
The whole article is worth reading: I snipped out a lot.
Bottom line: We can all breathe now.
$ site.
It is behind a pay-wall.
There are only four questions that remain unresolved about climate change:
1) Its existence
2) Its cause
3) Its impact
4) Its solution
Other than that ...
People eventually catch on to a hoax.
Climate Change is stupid. I worry more about being kidnapped by a UFO. If someone acts like Global Warming is a serious topic, I set them straight by telling them that they are a silly person. End of discussion.
Can’t read it because I don’t subscribe. But I would be interested.
The real question at this point is: what’s the next money-making scam the scientific “establishment” is going to run?
Do they somewhere in the article say that people are tired of being propagandized with a fraudulent political movement masking itself as an ecological crisis?
One wonderful comment made on the page concerning the death of climate change:
When the head is severed from the body, all remains burned and shot into space Ill believe it is dead. Ive seen the horror movies and you never turn your back on a viable corpse
Ozone holes are next.
Every few years they talk about how we're gonna get sucked out through the Ozone Holes.
Loved the summation: “Causes that live by politics, die by politics.” Yessuh.
Run its course? Not likely, pilgrim!
Together w/other topics not even being sufficiently covered...e.g. transhumanism, AI, related!
But they manage to keep a lot off the noose, don’t They???

Youve got to love how the Yurps twice thought they were going to get America on the hook to pay for this ridiculous crap. Twice they got Leftist Democrat presidents to agree. Twice the Senate refused to ratify any treaty for Gaia worship that would crush the US economy. Twice the next president rescinded the agreement. Twice the Yurps whined and complained about big bad America. Then twice the Yurps themselves then failed to live up to the agreement they were so keen on.
The predictions of imminent doom have not panned out. Al Gore will have to seek out another profit opportunity.
Hillary said it was to draw in the young people.
And it came to past.....that every school in the country teaches that we are wrecking the earth....BUT....there3 is a solution.
Even a dumb a** knows you can't reverse or revise climate change and that God not man is the controlling force in the universe.
...Judged by deeds rather than words, most national governments are backing away from forced-marched decarbonization. ...President Trumps ostentatious withdrawal from the Paris Agreement merely ratified a trend long becoming evident....

The establishment WSJ doesnt want to see President Trump get the credit for destroying the man-made global warming HOAX. But the fact is that President Trump clearly deserves and gets the credit since HE was the one to destroy the HOAX by putting a bullet into the base of the HOAX skull by withdrawing from Obamas Paris Accords.
Deal with it WSJ!
