Climate Change is stupid. I worry more about being kidnapped by a UFO. If someone acts like Global Warming is a serious topic, I set them straight by telling them that they are a silly person. End of discussion.

You’ve got to love how the Yurps twice thought they were going to get America on the hook to pay for this ridiculous crap. Twice they got Leftist Democrat presidents to agree. Twice the Senate refused to ratify any treaty for Gaia worship that would crush the US economy. Twice the next president rescinded the agreement. Twice the Yurps whined and complained about big bad America. Then twice the Yurps themselves then failed to live up to the agreement they were so keen on.

The predictions of imminent doom have not panned out. Al Gore will have to seek out another profit opportunity.

I just wish some rich people would start really believing in “climate change” so they would sell their seaside property dirt cheap!

I think that Global Warming, or Climate Change, or whatever, is worth studying. Knowing what the general climate will be in 100 years might be worthwhile. It's usually beneficial to understand the processes of where we live.

But Destroying the global economy because of what might maybe possibly will happen in a century's time? Not worth it. Agree with you, people are fools for suggesting such things.

Unfortunately, we'll never know until we get there. The process has become too politicized for science to win the day.

IMO, my grandchildren will look at this time period and chuckle at the thought that we believed we could control the weather globally by driving a certain kind of car. Not unlike how we chuckle at the thought of snake oil salesmen 100 years ago, or medicinal leeches and bleeding, 200 years ago.
