This year alone, President Donald Trump has recognized January as National Mentoring Month, March as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and April as Second Chance Month. He has already declared the month of June to be National Homeownership Month, National Ocean Month, Great Outdoors Month and National Caribbean-American Heritage Month.
But one proclamation is - once again - conspicuously absent from the White House website: LGBTQ Pride Month.
LGBTQ Pride Month was first proclaimed by President Bill Clinton in June 1999.
President George W. Bush declined to declare June as Pride Month, and it was not until the election of Barack Obama that the tradition started again. Obama issued a proclamation every year he was in office.
The White House did not immediately respond to NBC News’ request for comment.

I worked in a Federal Facility for the entire duration of the HUSSEIN usurpation.

I think Trump recognizes the party has a lot of evangelicals/social conservatives and realizes recognizing it may offend them. He has decided to not to weigh into it - don’t condemn the month and allow people who wish to celebrate it to celebrate it and don’t celebrate the month. He’s quiet about it.
How can we support something where most people don’t even know what the letters mean.
And what that means is that Monday is the beginning of the Apostles' Fast--and with an early Pascha this Fast will be at nearly maximum length of 24 days, a duration of nearly half of Great Lent.
Like all Orthodox Fasts, it is a time for subduing the passions rather than "celebrating" or reveling with "pride" about them.
