I keep forgetting that we lost Tongue Tied. It’s always a shock when it’s mentioned and reality slams home. :-(
As hard as it is....more feast is, I suspect, better.
Take good care of you.
My son a Sr. Chief serves aboard her. He gave us a private tour of her in December. She had just returned from a lengthy deployment. So huge.
She is stationed in Bremerton Wa.
He was a good guy, A Mustang..
Oh he had the women in stitch’s ‘cept Maybe Allegra, She’s gone missing and I liked her too.
I am honored to have known him
RIP Cmdr Healy
Evening, Kathy! How was your holiday weekend?
Yes, he was a good guy, and a real character.
I sent a few care packages to him when he was deployed and we emailed a lot but I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person.
*sigh* Makes me homesick for NC. They played quite often when I lived there and I rarely missed a show.
Oh he was funnier in person
He had the women in stitches
He sure was a trip.
But Hope was a bigger trip. Had to LOL at her Jetson’s wallpaper in the bedroom!
It doesn’t surprise me a bit. He had to be a lot of fun to hang out with.
We had a good enough time via emails, yukking it up quite a bit. I copied them into a Word doc to save as I did emails from others I “adopted” back in those days. They were all special and dear to my heart.
Holy cow, that is one wild video! LOL!!!!!
Hadn’t heard of him but he’s really good1
Thanks, Galz, for the sea trip. That name, Nimitz, has so much history behind it. Both the man and the ship. Yeah, I know this ISN'T the Nimitz. 😀 |
We thank you for your service to our country.
We are here because of what they gave.
