I do not envy young men in our society. A lot of them grow up without strong male role models. Theyre shoved through an education that treats them like defective girls and they come out of that into a world that incessantly feeds them mixed messages. Be chivalrous... chivalry is sexism that means you think women are inferior! Women love strong alpha males... women want men to be sensitive and emotional. Its your job to take care of and provide for your family
men are expected to do whatever their wife tells them to do, etc., etc., etc. There are so many of these that I could do a whole article on it (Mental note: Do whole article on the contradictory messages men get from society.) There are so many things you have to learn the hard way that I have a whole book on that topic, but here are a few of the most important lessons just for the guys.
1. Rejection Is Not Personal...

Part of me is glad that I can’t. I might just use my powers for evil

It’s refreshing that the author of this is not female. Such articles deigning to tell men how to be men, etcetera usually are. Maybe that’s why it actually rings true rather than tabloid fodder.

Really. A man should get a maid. And take her on a cruise.
A woman should get 3 cats. At least.

...and odd obsessions with what youre thinking when youre not really thinking about anything.
It is not so much that we are not thinking about anything, but rather thinking about things that are usually of no interest to women. Back when I dated, this was a typical exchange:
Woman: what re you thinking?
Me: How cool it would be to drop a pre-1999 Porsche 911 engine into a Corvair.
Woman: No, really. What are you thinking?
Me: That really is what I am thinking.

No, no. That is not original with me.
But I have been married for 38 years. So I kinda know what I’m talking about.

We believe GOD does have a sense of humor at times. Think back to BO'Bs
outdoor lectures when a YUGE crowd was expected.
Did we not see numerous electrical thunder storms in the same area at the time?
SO bad, BO'B had a Marine hold his umbrella during the talk
to the underlings (US)
And Gore - it seemed everywhere they traveled to tout the advances
of "Climate Change
"AKA "Global Warming...
were they not freezing to death under three feet of snow?
Lesson: Being a male is just as much a challenge as being a female.

Oh come now. There are only two times in a man's life when he doesn't understand women:
Before marriage.
After marriage.
