Posted on 05/17/2018 1:28:52 PM PDT by Rummyfan
I do not envy young men in our society. A lot of them grow up without strong male role models. Theyre shoved through an education that treats them like defective girls and they come out of that into a world that incessantly feeds them mixed messages. Be chivalrous... chivalry is sexism that means you think women are inferior! Women love strong alpha males... women want men to be sensitive and emotional. Its your job to take care of and provide for your family men are expected to do whatever their wife tells them to do, etc., etc., etc. There are so many of these that I could do a whole article on it (Mental note: Do whole article on the contradictory messages men get from society.) There are so many things you have to learn the hard way that I have a whole book on that topic, but here are a few of the most important lessons just for the guys.
1. Rejection Is Not Personal...
(Excerpt) Read more at pjmedia.com ...
6. Do not marry someone significantly younger than you are
and then live next-door to a mall.
7. A hard man is good to find.
Theres no such thing as free *****.
“Theres no such thing as free *****.”
There is, but it’s 80 years old and diseased...
With the war on men and masculinity today, I wouldnt want to be a young man.
But I am an older guy, and I can tell them all to shove it.
8) Don’t end up in a Mexican prison.
A woman always has the last word in every argument.
Anything a man says after that - is the start of a new argument.
#2 The toilet seat must, at all times, be left down
6. “All in all, you’re just another brick in the wall.” — Pink Floyd
This is a trueism. I dated a hair dresser, and that crazy bitch threw knives at me. THAT was the wakeup call to exit.
4. Women Are Nothing Like Men
A hard lesson to learn. Goes both ways, too. Women think that men are just like them until they learn otherwise. The sooner you both figure it out the better.
A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn’t.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won’t change, but she does.
Why make one woman miserable when you can make several of them happy?
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn’t need.
And lifted up when you are “going” and promptly returned to the down position when you are done. Guys are a pretty good aim, lots of practice, but not that good.
“Do not give your strength to women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings.” Prov. 31:3
“Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.” Prov. 31:10.
As the WaPo fact checkers and Snopes would say, “We rate this as mostly true.”
