So you got a little relief from the heat, too, did you? Same here. We almost got some rain with it but it rained everywhere BUT here. Par for the course. LOL

Howdy, LUV.
No rain here but it got close. At least it was cooler today.
Got the grocery shopping done, watched Survivor, grabbed a shower, just finished watching Code Black ..... it was a pretty good day. LOL
Tomorrow is the monthly Republican Women’s Group meeting so it’ll be early to bed tonight.
Good luck getting the bed made tonight. Heck, just toss Peaches out the door and you’ll be good to go and can kick back the rest of the evening. :-)

Whew! He did go out and hubby forgot to tell me. Now the bed is made and I’m sweatin’. That’s MY exercise for the day!
Toss Peaches out? I can’t even pick up the big lug much less toss him anywhere. LOL! Ginger is in but she doesn’t try to “help” with the bed-making.
Cooler sounds so nice. Glad you had that kind of a day. I think cool is done with us this year. The heat makes me tired quicker.

Good evening, radu...hope you and the kids had a good day.
Stopped for grass seed on the way home....spread it all. It is trying to rain, so I didn’t want to wait another day. Now I have to water every day per the container.

Over the hump, but still slogging to the weekend. Tomorrow is already full to the gills.
Brought work home tonight, but not critical if I don’t get it done.

Where’s the fly swatter? Not Peaches but for your hubby for net telling you. LOL! At least it’s done now and you can kick back.
Cooler IS nice, for sure! There was a stiff breeze blowing and that made it feel even better. Hardly broke a sweat when I went to the store this afternoon.
Just wish we could have gotten some rain. It’s starting to get dusty.

I tell ya...I’m going to have to locate that fly swatter for when he doesn’t tell me that kind of important stuff. LOL!
A cool breeze sounds sooo nice! Hope you get a bit of rain. Didn’t you get any yesterday when everyone else was having storms?
I think it knocked one of the DC nests off-line. It was lightning really hard there during the storm.

We got a couple of drops of rain yesterday but that’s all. I only knew about it because the trash can lids were a little damp when I threw out some cans last evening.
It rained close by again today but didn’t quite make it here. *sigh*
There are rain chances every day for the next week so maybe a shower will find its way here.
I hope the DC eaglets are ok after the storms yesterday. The winds can kick up pretty bad and blow young birds off the nests. DH5 hunkered down as low as she could go during a storm there last evening.

No flooding yet. There has been just enough time between the rains for streams to catch up, but the saturation point will be reached before lang.
Ark? After six days....gotta hit 20 straight before beginning those plans.

I sure hope y’all don’t get as dry as we are. Stuff there requires a lot more rain than things do here. Our water bill is our highest bill. Ugh!
I haven’t heard how they are. There are two nests there and the one that’s off line is called the ECC nest. I haven’t even checked the other one! My bad!

We don’t know what to expect this year. We’re about due for a dry one.
I checked Farmer’s Almanac to see what they predict and I think they’re a bit off the mark this year. They’re calling for cool and wet for TX!
They say hot and wet for here and most parts of TN are getting the wet part. We just aren’t getting it here. We’re all getting the hot part though.
The eagle cam might be out for the season if lightning zapped it. They usually won’t swap out cams while the eaglets are on the nest.
Guess I’d better scoot. Got a few things to do yet before going to bed and the alarm’s already going to go off too early. LOL!
Catch ya tomorrow.

I saw that Farmer’s Almanac entry and about had a cow. They couldn’t have been more wrong if they’d tried! LOL! I wish it were true, though.
Nighty-night. Enjoy your meeting tomorrow! Bring back some good political gossip. :)
