So on our hike this morning, Penny just plunked herself down in the middle of the trail and refused to continue. I gave her some water, let her rest, as I stood around, and then we finally made our way back to the A/C car. It’s still pretty hot!

LOL. She was probably thinking: "what is this woman thinking? It's hot and we've been couch potatoes all winter; we need to go slow".

I'm with you. Even now, I'm having a hard time adjusting between my normal schedule and getting up at 0330 when I have grandma duty. I did manage to sleep until 0600 after hubby left. Have a great weekend.
