Rep. Mark Amodei (R-Nev.) told a local news station that there is a rumor that Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) will resign soon, stepping up speculation about the Speakers political future.
The rumor mill is that Paul Ryan is getting ready to resign in the next 30 to 60 days and that Steve Scalise will be the new Speaker,

That would be a great day for America!
My vote is fake news
Hope it’s well lit and identified so he can make it out the door faster.

Not sure I would say fired but realize he was on the same jet with Lynch and Clinton at the Tarmac meeting. Interesting also as the Speaker of the House is 3rd in line for succession to the presidency if the Pres and Vice-Pres are gone. He may have broken a promise to Trump that he would behave and get things done and the bill was not it and he has been told his days are numbered as if you mess with the Bull you get the horns
Time will tell
There is a huge benefit to Scalise if this is not #FakeNews and if Scalise stays patriotic: He has what the shallow left sees as credibility in defending our individual right to keep and bear arms. He’s been shot (unlike most professional “victims” of the latest school shooting), and he still believes in individual freedom.
It's probably crossed Ryan's mind that he could make out every bit as well.
Hadn’t heard that he was at the tarmac meeting before.
Is there a WI senate seat up this year?
Can’t they kick Ryan out before then?
The face will change, the bad policy will still continue because it is dictated by the business and banking donors of the Corporatists.
He is a disgusting human being and along with John Roberts will be high on the list of traitors to their supposed political principles. Their deceit might well be the final straw that brings the nation down.
The lobbying side is where the real money is in DC, but I have to say the number of seemingly safe and powerful congress critters who are resigning or not running for reelection is staggering.
Draining the swamp or pure coincidence?
If he is really considering resigning, it won’t take thirty to sixty days.
He was a Soros dog right from the beginning when he lied he was a Tea Party supporter back then.
Ryan thought he could double-cross Trump at the bill signing but I think he was double-crossed as well, as the money is all tied up at OMB for funding. I can surmise he got a warning from Trump too with the infamous “letter” he got from Trump hours after the bill signing...
