This 60 year old cartoon eerily predicts exactly what is happening in society today with the encroachment of socialism/communism. Every young person should see this cartoon.
The bottom panel wagon should be loaded down with soccer balls, tacos and fluorscent Jesus figurines.
Too true (!).. and accurate !
1958, eh. 60 years ago isn’t as far back as it used to be:)
I’d love to get Pelosi’s review of this. Schumer’s too :)
“Dr. Tarrin P. Lupo” did not write or voice this classic animated film, already posted on YouTube, and he had nothing to do with its production.
He INTRODUCES it, throws his picture in there, and re-brands someone else’s work with a website, instead of doing nothing or immediately (unnecessarily) crediting the creators.
Stay tuned for THE GODFATHER, voiced by golux, (a Free Republic production.) I’ll put my picture in there. And then? THE NINTH SYMPHONY OF BEETHOVEN. By golux.
One problem is, the automobile was obviously not invented by “Joe Doakes” in the USA, or even any average person. Now if the cartoon had cited the Wright Brothers and the airplane, that would have been more accurate and very inspirational.
"...cartoon for millennials..."
I have never found a Jesus of any kind in a welfare house.
I hear you.
One of my favorites. It's one I've sent to many over the years.
There is that word “fair” again, the favorite of leftists. Never defined, it is a cudgel, hammering anyone that disagrees with their premise.
How about we bring back Schoolhouse Rock. The fidiots in our government and the morons who vote them in need a lesson in that also.
That cartoon is more accurate than many may recognize. What is the first thing they accomplish when the welfare wagons starts rolling? Look. They crush a child. So much for the next generations dreams.
How many welfare houses have you been in?
Just curious ;-)
I lost count years ago.
I have friend who manages his father’s section 8 houses.
I have helped him clean them out after evictions or they leave.
Scum is too kind a word. The messes they leave.
We did one where the detached garage was packed with garbage and clothing that appeared to have been worn once.
You are a brave soul, for cleaning out those Section 8 houses. I cannot begin to imagine.
Amazing how little folks seem to care about things that are free:very reduced cost. You would think it would be just the opposite - as in being SOOO thankful, for this generous roof over their heads, that they would leave it in pristine condition. Dreamland, I know.
Maybe the residents took their objects with Jesus (pictures, candles, etc) with them, when they left. Who knows?
I noticed this film was produced at Harding College in Searcy, Ark. When I was in junior high school, we were shown educational films produced by the National Education Program, which was based at that college, on subjects such as free enterprise versus socialism. Many, if not all of these films are now available on Youtube.
