Mark Simone just said he’s going to announce he’s running 2020 and naming his campaign manager. Simone is not always right, though. And why he would name his manager’s name is beyond me, if true. It just gives the drive-bys years to dig up dirt on him.

That’s not news. He filed paper work announcing 2020 candidacy a long time ago. Which triggered restrictions on Soros non profits wrt electioneering - IIRC from what I read at the time.
Actually, I think this is a neat bit of offense on Trump’s part. On a number of levels.

I guess the surprise here is that he is announcing so early. I'm thinking, he wants to be in full campaign mode for the very important mid-terms.
