Calls for the Broward sheriff to resign intensify. The vocal sheriff who has criticized everyone from local politicians to the NRA to one of his own officers in the wake of the Florida high school shooting is facing the pressure himself Monday, as calls mount for him to resign amid reports about his department’s alleged incompetence in stopping the gunman.
The heat against Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel is coming from all angles, including from a survivor of the attack who told Fox News that he “failed to act on so many different levels” and from dozens of state lawmakers who are urging Florida Gov. Rick Scott to suspend him.
“Listen, if ifs and buts were candy and nuts, O.J. Simpson would still be in the record books,” was Israel's bizarre defense Sunday after being asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper if the shooting might not have happened if his department handled things differently.
The comment came following disputed reports that three of Israel’s officers refused to enter Marjory Douglas Stoneman High School as Nikolas Cruz was killing 17 people in the Valentine’s Day rampage.
A deputy in charge of protecting the school, Scot Peterson, resigned Thursday after it emerged he himself failed to go into the building, taking shelter behind a concrete column for four minutes as the 19-year-old gunned down anyone in his path. And the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, in addition to the FBI, is continuing to face questions Monday as to why they didn’t do more when multiple people sounded the alarm about the gunman’s erratic behavior.

All law enforcement officers and school officials who support the horrific plans that ignore root causes of crime in favor of making the metrics look good should be shot. Couldn’t even pass a ISO 9001 audit, let alone make the community safer.
I’m going to say it was the latter. Coward County sheriff main dispatch channels aren’t encrypted and were broadcasted online. I’m guessing it is possible they used cell phones but the audio I heard never mentions it.
Governor Scott needs to remove this piece of crap tin-pot fascist sheriff from office pronto.
They didn’t at least give him the phone number to a crisis line, local mental health dept, offer to send to the ER for an eval, nothing? Wow. Lousy, unfeeling, incompetent.
One report was that they were ordered to wait on Swatt’s arrival. I have no way of knowing if that was true.
The other police department’s officers went right on in to take care of business.

Almost as an F-you to all those who willfully ignored his cries for help (for lack of better term) and escalating acting up. Kid probably knew he wasn’t fit for society, but society wouldn’t put him where he needed help to go. Or do we even have long term mental institutions anymore?

Israel should resign, but the real blame is on the policy of Obama and his idiot liberal fascist supporters in Florida. Governor Scott needs to make this right ASAP!
It is so amazing how fast the tables turned on this. CNN, the MSM, the Democrats, and the leftists all thought they had another platform handed to them to strike at the heart of the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment. But instead of that, their narrative has quickly been dismantled as the truth has been exposed.
And that’s why it’s worth beating the drum about and exposing all that they have done.

However, when you examine the program you will find that it is a systemic problem intertwined in the system. It is a sanctuary program for criminal behavior which was endorsed and signed by the school district, BSO, the circuit judge, the State Atty’s office (sitting in Broward), local NAACP, Juvenile justice system, etc. And the city of Ft. Ldle.
[Did you notice that the LEO (Coral Springs Police) that did rush in to stop the gunman and save the wounded from bleeding-out were NOT signers of this agreement. Those officers that rushed in were not under any orders to Stand Down because they are employed by CSPD as opposed to BSO.]
They all collaborated and agreed upon this and it is being pushed upon other school districts across the country. Harvard U. has heralded this ‘Stop the school pipeline to Prison program.’

This needs to be made VERY CLEAR to Governor Scott and President Trump, AND TO THE PUBLIC.
Its really the root of the evil happening in pour schools across the whole country.
I mean how can MS-13 be cleaned out when they have cadres in the schools.
