It feels like the early days of the #MeToo movement, which caused a cultural shift regarding sexual misconduct — but this time, the problem at hand is gun violence, and the movement is called #NeverAgain. And this time, the courageous individuals leading the effort for change are teenagers from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Just a few weeks ago, these young Americans were simply living the typical teenage life. But that changed on February 14, 2018, when a 19-year-old former student carrying a weapon of war entered their school with the intent of slaughtering people — and he did just that.
Those students who were recently on the front line of gun violence are now on the front line of pushing for laws that will save the lives of other young Americans. And clearly, many of these activists, who witnessed firsthand what an AR-15 can do to the body of a fellow teenager, view the NRA as a big part of the problem.

This massive gun confiscation push was supposed to all happen during a hillary presidency with the movie "Miss Sloan" out there pushing the narrative. Sadly for the Marxist scum bags, this didn't happen. On the other hand, the democrats still have a happy school shooting event occaisionly for a little pick-me-up.

I remember when kids went to school to be educated, not indoctrinated. Today’s kids are easily overwhelmed by any emotional crisis, driven by a disregard or misunderstanding of what is fact and fiction, and with the lack of experience and no knowledge of boundaries or limitations quick to speculate or “jump to a conclusion” that is flawed. Nothing gets resolved and collateral damages abound. In other words, they don’t know sh*t from shinola.
It’s a part of growing up and becoming an adult. Some progressive liberals, still facing this enigma of childhood, are not the sharpest knives in the drawer when prompted for a solution to a problem.
I guess it’s too difficult for them to understand that everything that works in theory will not always work in the real world. Until then, it’s all rainbows and unicorns in a perfect world for these suckers.
BTW, they can p*$$, moan, and protest until h*ll freezes over, but I ain’t giving up my guns and liberties without a fight.
One: There is no constitutional right to squeeze a titty without consent of it’s owner.
Two: A smorgasbord of governmental and law enforcement failure at that school isn’t the most opportune time to ask me to give up my means of self protection.
Three: A couple of times a week, sometimes daily, I hear things from the statists and leftists and our treasonous intelligence agencies that convince me I would be a target for repression and genocide if they can just gain power. So I might need my AR-15 for freedom defense.

Weapon of war. He could have walked in with a Springfield 1861 rifled musket and been identified as carrying a weapon of war. I have never had a discussion with an anti gun person whose argument was based on logic. Always based on emotion and emotional words.
