Yup. There current cry is “We refuse to compromise!” Then you won’t be getting anything.
And I’ve never heard them offer a compromise on guns, not even once. We start off with our rights, they offer nothing in return.
I never hear in return for an assault rifle ban, we get nationwide constitutional concealed carry with no permit needed.
I never hear in return for what they want, all restrictions on 22s, shotguns, and all the cowboy action replicas are dropped.
I never hear in return for better background checks, a citizen can purchase a gun in any state they want.
All I hear is them wanting another bite out of my rights with nothing in return. A compromise is where both sides feel some pain.
