A bipartisan group of senators working on immigration legislation has reportedly reached a consensus.
The deal will be announced later Wednesday, senators involved in the so-called Common Sense Coalition told reporters after a closed-door meeting.
"It's going to be ready today," said Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., The Hill reported.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said the deal would establish a pathway to citizenship for the nearly 2 million undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children and protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA, Bloomberg reported. Graham also said the deal will address border security.
Graham said the deal would not, however, deal with the so-called diversity visa lottery, which prioritizes immigration from countries that send fewer immigrants to the U.S., or family reunification, which immigration hardliners have dubbed "chain migration."

Isn’t this the same “Durbin and Graham” deal that POTUS rejected weeks ago?
If we get a wall and a path to citizenship with no diversity lottery or chain migration, that is a half of a loaf.
I would take that deal as long as the wall is fully funded and construction starts before this goes into effect.
Grahamnesty and Kaine hardly make it “bipartisan”. They’re both for open borders.

If it passes Trump will veto it without the wall, end to chain immigration and the visa lottery.
The operative term is "so-called."
POTUS getting $20 billion for The Wall would devastate the morale of the Democrat base. They would stay home in droves in the mid terms. Hard to see the Dems agreeing to that.
Oh for Fks sake. Veto the damned thing until it’s got teeth.
There will be no immigration reform bill passed in 2018. All they're doing now in Washington is preparing to say "We tried!" when it all goes down in flames.
The future of DACA immigrants isn't even among the 50 most important issues facing Americans these days.
Trump should sign this - if he wants to end his presidency.
