My best advice is to stay away from Hardees.

I did and none in the area that does not require a significant detour from our route. I’ll be in Marco’s Island for next 10 days and perhaps I’ll find one there.

Take your money elsewhere if it’s blocked and tell them why.

Posting on Yelp or their FB might get their attention.

Occam’s Razor Answer: They are buying some commercial firewall product (Barracuda or similar) where some sniveling little Lib administrator thought he’d pull a good one over on us racist hillbillies.

No burger joint is going to employ an IT guy to block your site.

VPN is a hundred bucks a year. Most have smart phone apps. Stick it to the liberal man.

Honestly years ago I would have 100% agreed with you. Then it all changed. Became the best burgers in town. (New CEO) Almost like I made them on my grill. Major road work here in town killed them.

Kinda sucked. Hope they rebuild.

Hardees is not liberal. Look at their adds. Could be the local franchisee or his IT sub is a dick.

Really good VPN is about $3.50 a month. You are getting screwed.

It’s their system, they can do what they like with it. <<

True..but we can still complain to the management and tell them why.....at that point its the managements decision if they want to lose conservatives as customers and cater to liberals....Not a very good business plan in my book..but they can lose money if they like

I was about to post pretty much the same comment. They are likely using an internet filtering service like Barracuda. And I doubt the folk at Hardees know of or cares about FR. And it is often more to do with certain keywords.

FWIW at a previous job, out IT department was using an internet filter service, it wasn’t Barracuda but something similar IIRC WebTitan.

But it was often a real PITA. For instance, me being in payroll and HR was several times blocked from the IRS and DOL websites. For several days it blocked out health insurer’s website in the middle of open enrollment. Another time our safety manager was blocked from a supplier’s website for some unknown reason that turned out because the website sold “Safety Bras” which of course had nothing to do with women’s lingerie.

No, they can't. I am a customer, and the customer is always right.

Not a fan of cheap ‘really good ones.’ Expessvpn is the best in the world.

The WiFi connection that your phone provides uses data from your wireless network. Using someone else’s WiFi reduces your data usage. On limited plans, doing that can save you quite a bit on overages.
