Only GOP member to throw hat in ring in district covering parts of Chicago, Arthur Jones praises Hitler, says Shoah was an 'international racket,' calls Trump a 'Jew-loving fool'

A noted Holocaust denier and unambiguous anti-Semite is slated to become the Republican nominee for a US House seat representing parts of Chicago and its nearby southwestern suburbs. Arthur Jones has been a perennial candidate for that seat since the 1990s, but has never come anywhere close to being a serious contender. This year, he is the only Republican on the ballot, leaving him poised to clinch the nomination on March 20.

"Seems he’d be more at home with US Democrats..."

My first thought was "Obama's got a Republican buddy?"

“The reality is this is a 100% safe Dem district, this guy gets nothing from the state and national party, has no ties to anyone, is likely a false flag the Dems have secretly encouraged.”

This district (3rd) has a conservative democrat (Lipinski) running for re election and because he is conservative the perverts want to dump. Past history shows that the Illinois GOP along with the RCEC has never funded any candidate running here partially because he has supported conservative causes including being anti abortion .

Because the Illinois governors race Republicans will be focused on their primary and there is a strong possibility of Lipinski losing his seat. Because dems figure most conservatives in that district will come out for Ives who is running a strong race against Governor Rauner won’t be able to come out for Lipinski.

What should happen but probably won’t Is that Jones petitions should be gone over with a fine tooth comb and challenged (not sure if the time allotted to do this is available) or other methods used to remove him from the primary ballot. If not then get a write in candidate. Who may lose in the general but won’t give the perverts an issue to run around with for November.

Does IL have open primaries? If not, how far in advance of primary elections do you have to declare party affiliation?

“Corbyn is anti-Israel, not anti-Jewish.”

He, as many others, disguise their anti Antisemitism by being anti Israel.

Maybe not to us, but it would have been to the general electorate, and would have been made much more hard to ignore by that pic, had it been available in 2008.

Dan Lipinski is a Blue Dog, Casey of PA style Democrat under Boss Madigan in a PURPLE District that includes Madigan’s ward.

Madigan’s precinct workers throughout the entire congressional district, and state, know their voters. Ever since Harold Washington won as mayor of Chicago, their line to the Jones type voters is that whites need to stay in the Democrat party to prevent it being taken over by the Harold Washington types.

Madigan’s troops are selectively racist...and the most racist in a very cynical way ... of almost anyone in the nation. No candidate can out-racist those precinct captains.

Only a small sliver of the 3rd district of 1972 is in the present day 3rd.

As the voters move/leave the city, the district lines move with them.

Madigan controls that process. He is laughing.

No he probably is laughing his pfsterris off but he doesn’t “control “ it . Is that the way the Republicans handle candidate petitions in your state Arkansas ? Or is it because FR’s lets anyone post vacuous remarks you had to demonstrate your brilliance ? .

Does IL have open primaries? If not, how far in advance of primary elections do you have to declare party affiliation?

When you go to vote in an “open” primary means that you do not openly declare your party affiliation but select the party ballot, only one section of a general ballot, or a single ballot if paper. Or touched on a computer or lever pulled on a machine in the polling booth in secret.

Depending on the state The agency handling the election sets the filing dates and the figure for the number of signatures required to be on the ballot. In some states it’s the county clerk or The Secretary of State .In Illinois case Chicago’s The agency (Cook County Board of Elections) is composed of a board of equal number of commissioners which each represent the political partys.

It’s up to the political party which sets candidates party qualifications. In closed primaries party membership can be an issue but the way it’s usually handled is petition signatures verification being challenged both in the open and closed elections..

And with a mere 45% plurality with a socialist taking 20%.

The district was just a little chunk of ethnic White Chicago then.

https://www.ourcampaigns.com/RaceDetail.html?RaceID=397727

Only a fraction of it’s geographic territory is in the current third.

https://www.ourcampaigns.com/RaceDetail.html?RaceID=782800

The current third is shining example of rat gerrymandering, put some GOP ‘burbs in with a chunk of Chicago/Black suburbs that vote supermajority rat, wasting many GOP votes, several State Senate districts are the same thing.

They would do more of it. ... What holds em back? If the district becomes too suburban, then a suburban Dem could win the primary.

Jones, the Nazi ... His signatures are validated. He was careful this time

I think the GOP can do a write in for the March primary. Only if they registered as a write in candidate

I count 4 congressmen from Chicago
I doubt they would allow those districts to become majority suburban
