FBI warns it has 'grave concerns about material omissions of fact' in Nunes memo
The Hill ^ | 01/31/2018 | Katie Bo Williams

In a rare public statement on Wednesday, the FBI said that it has "grave concerns" about a Republican-crafted memo alleging corrosive abuse of U.S. surveillance powers by the Justice Department that is expected to be released in the coming days.

"With regard to the House Intelligence Committee’s memorandum, the FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it," the bureau said.

"As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy."

wonder if they will redact the part where clinton and obama collude and initiate a coup d’tat.

If they want war they will get war

That ain't even gonna happen. No sense even suggesting it. The Founders gave us a way to revolt without bloodshed or death, but we won't even do that. Talk of any kind of revolt is just downright silly.

It's fake news. Press doing its part to knowingly advance another hoax, just like it advanced and maintained the Russian collusion hoax, and numerous hoaxes that the WH attempted to force the FBI to drop a righteous investigation. The usual BS from the usual suspects.

So Mr. Wray, why have you delayed and stone-walled for 12 months?

I’ve looked at a dozen or more stories about this in the MSM. Not a single source or link. The quotes seems to come from a Twitter account that does NOT belong to the FBI.

“The FBI takes seriously its obligations to the FISA Court and its compliance with procedures overseen by career professionals in the Department of Justice and the FBI,” the bureau said in its statement.”

This statement is not coming form the Bureau. If it was then it would be a public statement. It would be official. This is coming from one or two players within the FBI. The Hill is twisting reality in that way. And so the fact that this entire story is just another Hit piece, becomes quite obvious.

This reminds me of the idiotic stories posted all over a bunch of conservative news websites in late October of 2016, where they were making the outlandish statement that a bunch of senior people in the Clinton campaign were about to be arrested.

The story was posted on about a half-dozen websites, and almost all of them referenced each other as the "source."

The one website that had an "original source" had posted a link to some knucklehead's Twitter post, where he said something to this effect: "I'm hearing from my buddies in the NYPD that a bunch of Clinton people are going to be arrested tonight."

I can laugh about it now because it was so preposterous and amateurish, but it was ridiculous to see how many people here on FR bought into the story.

But I thought the FBI director saw the memo said there were no factual errors in it and fired McCabe very next day. Who at the FBI is saying these things and why should we not be able to know from this article who at the Bureau said this?
It sounds like a last ditch attempt by Democrats to keep the memo under wraps or to dismiss it’s veracity so they can write articles about how biased Devin Nunes is.

Not a tweet, a direct communication delivered to various press outlets. Bloomberg was the first to report on this angle, with most follow-up reports citing Bloomberg. Now we have a number of press outlets showing the FULL message they received, and attributed to either the FBI, or, in the case of Bloomberg, to Wray.

The press wants to believe it, so they blast it out to the public.

It came out after 8:00 am. See CNN/Cuomo interview with Sarah Sanders. Cuomo asserts that Rosenstein and Boyd are against disclosing to the public. In typical fashion, he assumes they had even read it at the time they made those alleged views known. Anyway, if this fake blast from the FBI had been available to Cuomo, he would have referred to it too.

Law abiding Americans have grave concerns about the DOJ
and FBI.

Had Sessions and Wray started cleaning up these agencies
of criminals months ago, this memo may not have been necessary.

Both Sessions and Wray stonewalled document requests for months.
And did nothing to clean up their agencies.

Release the memo and let loose the dogs of war.

“the FBI said that it has “grave concerns” “

You would expect them to say that when some of them are going to be tried for their criminal acts and sent to jail ( to jail if they are lucky).

Grave omissions? That’s why Schiff is writing his memo. Right?

So is this new source calling Wray a liar since a statement came out that the report was indeed accurate?
