FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has “stepped down effective today,” reports NBC News.
FOX News correspondent Catherine Herridge reported on Monday that FBI Director Christopher Wray viewed the explosive FISA memo this weekend.
It appears McCabe is the first victim of the FISA MEMO.
The swamp immediately struck back. The new Acting Deputy Director of the FBI replacing Andrew McCabe, David Bowdich worked under Comey. In fact, he may be a witness in the ‘Trump-Russia’ investigation because Comey had a conversation with him about Trump asking the former FBI Director to supposedly ‘back off its probe into General Flynn’.
Even worse, Bowdich was involved in the Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting conversations with Comey as they scrambled to hide the scandalous meeting from the public.

Newsweek has learned that an FBI official who served as associate deputy director under James Comey and Andrew McCabe is replacing McCabe as acting deputy director. An FBI spokesperson was not immediately available to comment. The news was also reported by CNN, NPR and Fox News.
As associate deputy director, David Bowdich was the third-ranking FBI official, according to the bureau’s organization chart, and would now become No. 2. […]
But Republican lawmakers and conservative commentators who have called for a “purge” of the bureau’s Comey-era officials might be disappointed, given his former proximity to Comey and McCabe. In testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee last June, Comey said he had spoken to senior colleagues including Bowdich about President Donald Trump’s allegedly asking Comey to have the FBI back off its probe into Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser.
Because of that apparent conversation, and because he was the No. 3 official under Comey, Bowdich is a potential witness into whether Trump obstructed justice by firing Comey. Last June, Senator Dianne Feinstein, the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, requested that the committee interview Bowdich and other FBI officials as the panel investigated Comey’s termination.
According to previous reports, before his departure, McCabe told Bowdich and other senior FBI officials they may have to serve as witnesses to dirty cop Mueller’s Russian witch hunt against President Trump.
According to documents obtained by conservative watchdog group, Judicial Watch Bowdich was also involved in conversations with Comey about the Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting.
Bowdich was one of the senior FBI officials scrambling to find the ‘whistleblower’ who outed Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch to the local Phoenix media about their secret tarmac meeting in June of 2016.
President of Judicial Watch Tom Fitton previously blasted the corrupt FBI officials (David Bowdich included), who fiercely worked to make sure the Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting would not be revealed to the public:
“These new FBI documents show the FBI was more concerned about a whistleblower who told the truth about the infamous Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting than the scandalous meeting itself. The documents show the FBI worked to make sure no more details of the meeting would be revealed to the American people. No wonder the FBI didn’t turn these documents over until Judicial Watch caught the agency red-handed hiding them. These new documents confirm the urgent need to reopen the Clinton email scandal and criminally investigate the resulting Obama FBI/DOJ sham investigation.”
We elected Donald Trump to drain the swamp. Until every single one of the these Deep State operatives are flushed out, it will be business as usual in D.C.

It's probably not Wray's call on this. The Deputy FBI Director is almost certainly replaced -- by statute, not by the FBI Director's discretion -- on an interim basis by an existing successor within the FBI.
This is Swampgate, that’s what this is.

Wray said, if I remember correctly, that he’d resign if McCabe was removed. Was Wray’s bluff called? Or, will Wray be leaving soon also?
Not for long. I have a feeling the FBI will no longer be investigating this issue. Once Mueller sees all of them (FBI big wigs) treading water do you think he will jump in with them? Maybe if he is worried about the U1 deal.
