A video in which a Southern California high school teacher is heard slamming members of the military as “the frickin’ lowest of the low” in a classroom rant to students has gone viral.
El Rancho High history teacher Gregory Salcido -- who also serves as an elected Pico Rivera city councilman and was once mayor -- even goes so far as to refer to those who are in the military overseas as failed students who had no choice but to serve, "Fox & Friends" reported Sunday.
“Think about the people you know who are over there,” Salcido is heard saying. “Your freakin' stupid Uncle Louie or whatever. They're dumb s - - - s. They're not high-level bankers. They're not academic people. They're not intellectual people."

Someone needs to tar and feather this jerk, and dump him in a river. My niece was hanging around with low-life latino scum like him as a teen, then joined the Navy. That experience got her motivated to clean up her self, now she’s doing very well as an RN, married with 4 kids. My niece made a choice to serve, and is a proud vet. Unlike the loser latino scum that hate our country.
forget about the vile things he said about the military but think of the type of thinking this guy has and its effect on those students that are not going to be the bankers and the leaders of society. this guy should not be allowed near kids especially any kid that struggles in the area of education. I am guessing that this guy is the embodiment of everything that is wrong in education when it comes to the management of school systems.....I am also betting if he ever wanted to run for any elected office again he has ended that path.
Lots of teachers served. To him they’re stupid. Every male teacher I had in the 60s were WWII vets. And a few women.

I intimated on a couple other threads that just maybe this feller needs his ass kicked. It would sure make me feel better.
People are talking about this hateful ‘teacher’ from coast to coast. If they can’t fire him, find a nicely painted Rubber Room and keep him away from students.
I am a veteran (Submarine Nuclear Propulsion Electrical Operator/Supervisor), a skilled craftsman (Industrial Electrician), and a college-educated manager.
The first two give me immense pride. The third one was something I did because I got tired of working out in the sun and rain at age 50. I have no respect for anyone who equates education with intelligence because they obviously don’t know what they are talking about.

Not just that. Teaching should be second career that can’t begin until age 35. Force them to work in the real world for long enough to understand life outside a classroom.
That SOB probably failed the ASVAB.
Heinlein also held that view about citizenship and voting, IIRC.
