An Illinois judge denied a transgender students request Thursday to change clothes with female students in the girls locker room at a public high school.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois, which represents Nova Maday, a biologically male student at Palatines Township High School District 211, had petitioned a trial court last year, arguing the student should be treated like other females and not be forced to change clothes behind a curtain.
But on Thursday, Judge Thomas Allen rejected the request, leaving the ACLU to consult with its client on how to move forward with the case.
Clearly, we are disappointed in this decision. We continue to believe that the school is wrong to discriminate against our client. There is no exception under our nondiscrimination laws that allows a school to treat transgender students differently because of lack of understanding or discomfort about transgender people, said John Knight, LGBTQ policy director at the ACLU.

What the hell is a Nova Maday?
Finally a win in this war.
Sounds like an imbecile that was allowed to choose its own name.
Mayday Mayday Nova is going down.
This is not a drill
“What the hell is a Nova Maday?”
Another new disease? A cancerous growth?
Change the signs on the doors and make people use the room with the picture aligned with what their own junk looks like.
Can you imagine what this misfits parental units are like?
They need to be charged with child endangerment
Could be historic, first time I’ve seen anybody say no to the trannies in a looong time. I’m sure the death threats are rolling in already.
Yup....plain old common sense.
Slightly off topic, If women are so horribly oppressed, why do so many men want to be them? Maybe the way its reported is biased, but it seems male to female vastly outnumbers female to male
If he still has guy parts, that probably factored in.
Absolutely, these parents have to be indoctrinated Dem leftists and are guilty of child abuse in my view.
What lengthy chain of twisted logic led the ACLU to believe this is an issue of free speech or constitutionally guaranteed civil liberties?
Support Free Republic, Folks!
In the words of Mark Steyn:
What sort of woman would be offended by the sight of another woman’s penis?
Why should the trannies rights trump the rights of the girls that don’t want it? Kudos to the judge.
