LETTER TEXT
The Honorable Devin Nunes
Chairman
Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
HVC-304, The Capitol
Washington, D.C. 20515
Dear Chairman Nunes:
Thank you for your hard work as Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), and for making the recent four-page memo from HPSCI available to Members of Congress. After reading the document, we were shocked and frustrated, but it has deepened our belief in the vital importance of transparency.
This important memo will be of interest to anyone who cares about America and our democratic system of government. We are writing to request the immediate release of this document to the public, as well as any relevant ancillary information. The audience of this document should not be limited to Members of Congress the American people deserve to know the information it contains.
Thank you for your service and for your prompt attention to this request.
Sincerely,
Matt Gaetz
Member of Congress
When people start to sweat getting caught, they make mistakes. Maybe Trump is enjoying letting them hang in the wind for awhile to see what happens.
The memo will be released.
How can a fisa warrant go further then just spying on trump campaign ...
Am watching Hannity with Sebastian Gorka and Sara Carter.
Gorka started down a path describing what his sources were telling him re the FISA memo. Hannity cut Gorka off and asked Sara a question.
My take on the Hannity action is that he wants to control the pace at which this scandal will be dribbled out.
Hope he is not part of the swamp.
That’s a great idea.
I doubt that. Blackmailing a Supreme Court Justice is pretty damn high... Unless you’re talking kiddie porn then there’s not much worse.
I don’t see how they’d have that info.
This is all about spying on Americans for political gain. Don’t overhype it
“TRUMP ATTORNEY: We Are Hearing the FISA Abuse Went Further Than Just Spying on Trumps Campaign’”
Translation: We have their nutz in a vise.
Release the Kraken!
Mine too, Luke Messer, Indiana’s next senator.

How about exposing those that voted to classify this document “Top Secret”. Really? The Republicans should be calling for the resignations of every Member who voted to keep this hidden.
This should be a telling moment of which Republicans are compromised.
I notice my uber RINO House rep, Pete Sessions (R-TX), is missing from the list. No surprise.
He probably could, but it would be far more right and proper for the House committee to release the memo.
If the President goes over their heads and does it, it looks like he's on the defense, and going around Congress. Not a good appearance, politically, as the release will obviously benefit him.
Much better for him to calmly hold his position, and allow the people's representatives do the honorable thing.
There's also timing to be considered. The government shutdown is currently sucking up all the oxygen in the media. It's important that the release happens at a moment in the news cycle where it will create the maximum impact on the public.
#ReleaseTheMemo
Agree with your sentiments.
After this has stewed for a few days Trump could tweet ...
“Would be better for country if House releases FISA memo.
Don’t want to use Exec. authority to do right thing.”
Contact Paul Ryan, or contact your congresscritter and insist he contact Ryan to release the memo!
I did!....I called Gaetz, Ryan and my district Congressman.
Just do it!
(202) 224-3121
Of course, President Trump can declassify anything he wants to, so it might be good to call (202) 456-1111 and ask for the memo to be declassified, and write to president@whitehouse.gov
