President Donald Trump and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer did not reach a deal on DACA during a Friday meeting. Trump And Schumer Fail To Reach A DACA Deal

Schumer said that he made “progress” with the president but they were unable to reach any official deal in the “long and detailed meeting.”
“We made some progress but we still have a good number of disagreements. The discussion will continue,” Schumer told reporters after leaving the meeting.
Trump and Schumer met amid a looming government shutdown, as Senate Democrats have refused to vote on a continuing resolution to fund the government unless it includes protections for DACA recipients. Republicans do not currently have the 60 votes necessary to pass the resolution.
The government will shut down at midnight if the funding bill does not pass.

SOLUTION to the impasse...
Release the MEMO. Arrest the guilty. Vote on the continuing resolution bill.
Well, the Republicans have tried to work this out.

This was just theatrics. One upmanship on Trump’s part. He reached out to Chuckie and the Rats. He tried to avert a shutdown.
So the resulting fallout will all be on the Democrats.
The attempt to work a deal with the Devil never works out well.
No wall, no deal for the illegals. Even an amoeba can understand this. Schumer is dumber than an amoeba.

JMO, but I think this whole situation is designed to distract from the infamous “memo”.
Even Fox is almost ignored it; it’s shutdown, shutdown, shutdown, 24-7.
I sure hope he recorded the meeting. Simple digital recorders are cheap. He should have notified Schumer he was going to record, placed it on the desk and released it immediately to the press when the meeting was over. It’s sad to think he would have to do something like this, but you can’t afford to be burned by these people after every meeting.
I know he has Executive Privelidge communications, but these folks will lie about everything. You do this a couple of times and pretty soon they’ll get the message.

A DACA deal? The more pressing issue is a CR deal. But the Dims are convinced if they hold their breath long enough, Trump will give in on DACA.
I say, let them turn blue.
Stop making sense. Same as it ever was in D.C.
No deal, let the deportations begin as permits expire.
