What was the reason for the loss? Was the Dem turnout unusually high for a special election, or was the Rep turnout exceptionally low?

The head in the sand is quite popular here. It is not one seat. We e been getting slaughtered all over the place. We’ve lost at least 15 state seats all over the country. We are not in a good position now.
Usually when you run a solid conservative, pro American candidate, you have a great shot at winning. Trump actually won Wisconsin when many had written off Wisconsin as unwinnable by a conservatives.
He’s been in the seat for years. A conservative in a red district. The republicans just didn’t show up to vote. Seems to be the trend.
