More evidence of a blue wave. Is there any way to avoid a Dem takeover at this point?

It’s not time to signal the end of the world, but... it’s not a good sign.

Who were the candidates and other specific things that may likely have influenced the race just as much (or likely more) than just a simple “blue wave”? These would be the things I’d be curious about, but the fainting couch trolls and such others will be plenty busy here I guess.

GOP turnout was 12%. Our side has to show up to win.

Democrat voters are energized. GOP voters are complacent.

This has to do with the ‘polarization ‘ in the country, and it’s downside. The 20% in the middle, only come out in presidential years. You then have the left and right battling it out in off years - ‘moderates’ don’t come out in off years, unless a pressing issue has them come out.
When Bush was President, his war against Sadam was very unpopular - GOP lost the house.

Obama was president, Obamacare and it’s cost was very unpopular - RATs lost the house, then Senate.

The RATs and media, have now made Trump the issue - hard to change Trump’s image at this point.

The GOP is hoping tax cuts (policy) will overcome Trump’s image issues. This might work, it’s gonna be hard to overcome.

Have moderate voters in my office, pro conservative, 2nd Amendment, etc, but probably won’t come out in the mid-terms to help Trump.

We should be able to hold Senate.

I don’t know; it may be different in November. These are little publicized by elections; moreover, the huge state subsidy to get the Foxconn plant in southeast Wisconsin may have hurt dramatically.

OR like Alabama, there is rampant Voter Fraud that is not being found, addressed or investigated.

Gillespie was A RINO. So in VA a RINO lost to a Communist. Nothing to learn form that. Alabama was a hatchet job. If you want to base your predictions on this them you are not going to get accurate results. This was the plan from the Establishment, it is psy-ops and you are falling for it. You are Mitch's bitch if you do.

There’s got to be more to the story. What was the Republican candidate like? Was there a scandal? A verbal gaff during the campaign?

Must have been a HORRIBLE candidate for only 12% of Republicans to show up.

I guess I’m paranoid but I wouldn’t put it past Dems to allow (encourage) illegals to vote in state elections.

And that’s what the midterms are all about. Whoever turns out wins. Right now the Dems have a gigantic epic edge. They’re outperforming everywhere.
