Jeff Bezos just donated $33 million to 'dreamers' Jeff Bezos just donated $33 million to 'dreamers' 41 Mins Ago | 00:41 Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos donated $33 million in college scholarships for "dreamers" childhood undocumented immigrants granted stay in the country under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
TheDream.Us, a nonprofit working toward college access for undocumented immigrants, said the donation from Bezos and his wife MacKenzie is the largest in the organization's history and will fund 1,000 scholarships.
"My dad came to the U.S. when he was 16 as part of Operation Pedro Pan," Bezos said in a statement. "He landed in this country alone and unable to speak English. With a lot of grit and determination and the help of some remarkable organizations in Delaware my dad became an outstanding citizen, and he continues to give back to the country that he feels blessed him in so many ways."

Amazon/Bezos and Facebook/Zuckerberg are using the wealth you provide by using their services to steal your country from you.
I wonder where 33 Million came from? Is there some secret formula that came up with that number?
Why not 50 Million, a 100 Million, a Billion?
The Richest guy in the World giving 33 Million is like me giving somebody my pocket change.
That being said, it’s his money.
Yeah,good question !
How much is he donating for American kids? How much for black kids who come from single family homes in disadvantaged neighborhoods? Does this man not feel a twinge of guilt for taking money from those he obviously despises?
There will be no more Amazon boxes at my house

Catholic Welfare Bureau op. Catholics flying in young refugees in the 60’s. Then, they flew those kids’ parents over - chain migration. Catholic leaders...
That money is going to go far in the the third world countries they’re going to be shipped off to.
Actually he was his step dad.
For $33 million, Jeff could have several universities built in another country.
Nary a dime for US students who got cheated out of their college slot who’s parents paid taxes for the state university their whole lives.
“There will be no more Amazon boxes at my house.”
Ditto. Have loved the ease, but can no longer tolerate the company. Bezos, GFY.
No billionaire ever helped our kids with their college education bills. They earned their way with part time jobs.
Since Bezos seems to have money to burn on the 4% of dreamers who actually graduate, we’ll be cutting back drastically on the money we’ve been spending on Amazon. This year, we’ll order from other sources.
Claim the prize and get deported.
The Bezos pinata. /s
“Awwww. Isnt Jeff a nice guy?”
At his net worth, it’s the equivalent of an average American donating a sawbuck.
For that much money, he’ll have slaves with PhD.s working in his warehouses.
I have a boycott going at Amazon (bezo’s outfit). I can find everything at eBay.
Isn’t this about like an ordinary millionaire giving $330 to his college? (Not saying $330 is ungenerous. That’s more than I sent my college last year.)
Washington Post to be sold to Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon

Hey, Bezos’ wealth recently hit record levels. The e-commerce founder is now worth more than Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates ever was, in absolute terms, but Gates has donated billions through his charitable foundation.
Bezos seems to be taking up a similar path, even REQUESTING philanthropic ideas from his Twitter followers in June.
To properly frame this in identity politics: thats 1000 bright, young African-Americans who wont get a shot a college degree. So, Bezos prefers light brown skin to dark brown skin, I guess.
This is just BS. How about the children of Americans who served their country and then went on to be a working taxpayer? I am sure there are many families such as mine who planned, sacrificed and saved for our kids education?
