Here is the result I got:
Augh! I didn’t! I figured it would just freeze again before he found it. I never know when he will show up and it’s been below freezing for 3 days now. I’m a bad adopted mom.
There is a fuzzy throw in the cat carrier on the front porch. if I knew for sure that he didn’t use it, I’d just put it in the shed and then bring the other one home when I’m at the church building again.
It takes a little while to freeze back over, especially if you put warm water in it. That’s what I did. I’d also go out and just break the top skin of ice and toss the ice chunks and add warm water from a pitcher.
And then there were times it was so frozen I had to dump the whole thing and start over. That was usually when I woke up since Hubby didn’t keep an eye on it.
Is there a thrift store in your area? You could get a blanket for a buck or two at a store like that. Bet Ghost would really like that! LOL

Woke to 9 degrees outside.
And we'll be getting some snow, tomorrow.
Fingers crossed that all we'll get
at the homestead will be trace to 1 inch, as predicted.
I never, ever want to deal with 4-24 inches of snow!
Before then, it says we'll get to 30-something today. WOW! And...
starting next Monday, our temps will be back to normal: mid-30s.
Sure hope it does and it stays that way.
I keep telling God that if I wanted cold, I'd move further north! LOL
Time for me to make my rounds.

WOW, even Texas hasn’t been able to escape Old Man Winter.
I can’t wait until Monday when we’ll be back to winter normal.
We are frozen! Will finally get above freezing this afternoon,,,Longest freezing temps I can recall.
Looks like you all are in for a big winter storm.
Our local weather woman claims we’ll get a dusting in my area, most will be to the east of us. But, who knows what’ll happen, in the end? Just counting the days until spring!

He’s got water now. :) Going to a thrift store is a good idea....or to the dollar store. I’ll think of something to help him stay warmer.
Of course, after last night, it’s probably a moot point. It’s warming up for the rest of the week and next week.
I hope y’all are spared from the miserable cold associated with the big blizzard that the east is supposed to have soon! Brr!

No, I do not want to see him suffer. That is why I agree with his decision.
His mom, his brother and his son will be with him. I would be on the outside looking in.

You’ll probably have better luck finding a better deal on a blanket or a throw at a thrift store. They sell stuff cheap. :-)
Even though it’s warming up a bit now, winter’s just getting started and I have a sinking feeling it’s not gonna be a fun one. It’s certainly started off with a bang!
We broke the freezing mark! A whoppin’ 34 degrees this afternoon! With wind. *sigh* It’ll still feel like the 20s when I head out shortly for the grocery shopping that HAS to be done. Just grateful we aren’t getting the snow that’s clobbering the east coast right now.
