2017 Was the Year I Learned About My White Privilege
I used to be a smart-alecky conservative who scoffed at “political correctness.” The Trump era has opened my eyes.
In college — this was in the late 1980s and early 1990s at the University of California, Berkeley — I used to be one of those smart-alecky young conservatives who would scoff at the notion of “white male privilege” and claim that anyone propagating such concepts was guilty of “political correctness.” As a Jewish refugee from the Soviet Union, I felt it was ridiculous to expect me to atone for the sins of slavery and segregation, to say nothing of the household drudgery and workplace discrimination suffered by women. I wasn’t racist or sexist. (Or so I thought.) I hadn’t discriminated against anyone. (Or so I thought.) My ancestors were not slave owners or lynchers; they were more likely victims of the pogroms.

Does he know cops shoot more white people than black? A friend of mine Ed Reed, white guy, was shot by a cop in Brooklyn NY 25 years ago for a simple car stop. He got out of the car like an idiot and the cop shot him in the arm and he survived and me personally when I use to drive a Yellow cab in New York city I would be stopped on average 3 to 4 times a week, and quite a number of those times the cop had his gun out. The black cops were the absolute worst because they would get revenge for taxis not picking up blacks - which I did BTW - and they would abuse the living effin crap out of me. I remember one time I made an illegal left turn and this black cop kept me waiting over two hours while he wrote me out 6 tickets for everything from the illegal left turn, garbage on the floor, not having my trip sheet filled out, dome light missing a bulb, on and on. When I finally quit a few years later I had so many tickets it took almost 5 years to resolve them all. THAT is cop abuse which of course the MSM would never report and F these morons like this guy this white privilege garbage. Take a look at that moron Sheila Jackson Lee. That is a direct product of BLACK privilege called affirmative action. This absolute moron or all morons somehow getting a degree in law and political science when she probably couldn’t pass a basic 4th grade aptitude test yet walks around like she is owed the world.
