House Republicans quietly investigate perceived corruption at DOJ, FBI

A group of House Republicans has gathered secretly for weeks in the Capitol in an effort to build a case that senior leaders of the Justice Department and FBI improperly — and perhaps criminally — mishandled the contents of a dossier that describes alleged ties between President Donald Trump and Russia, according to four people familiar with their plans.

A subset of the Republican members of the House intelligence committee, led by Chairman Devin Nunes of California, has been quietly working parallel to the committee's high-profile inquiry into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. They haven't informed Democrats about their plans, but they have consulted with the House's general counsel.

That final product could ultimately be used by Republicans to discredit special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into whether any Trump aides colluded with Russia during the 2016 campaign — or possibly even to justify his dismissal, as some rank-and-file Republicans and Trump allies have demanded.

Nunes' office declined to comment about the effort, but he has aired his suspicions about the law enforcement agencies before. "I hate to use the word corrupt, but they’ve become at least so dirty that who’s watching the watchmen? Who’s investigating these people?" he said in a Fox News interview earlier this month. "There is no one."

So you really believe Sessions is working to help Trump clean up the FBI, and not to defend the FBI first and foremost? Here are the money quotes, from their dueling press conferences at the same event on Friday:

Trump: “What the FBI has done is really, really disgraceful, and a lot of people are very angry.”

Sessions: “Sometimes, things that might appear to be bad in the press have more innocent explanations.”

I know who I believe.

Mueller’s investigation is a cesspool of corruption

He certainly got all the sharks to jump into the same tank.

Remember how in that movie , if you were seeing it for the first time , that it wasn’t until the end that you understood what was really going on ?

That must mean that Willie Sutton was a perceived bank robber.

Jeffery Dommer was an alleged cannibal.

Charles Manson was a possible cult leader.

Hitler ‘mistreated’ the Jews and Christians in 1930s Poland

Man give it a few days and the wordsmiths..(OH YEAH) can cure all the worlds ills.

MSDNC actually had Congressman Gaetz on late this afternoon. Probably the first time ever, and they badgered him as best they could, but he laughed his way through it knowing the DOJ crooks are finally on the run:

http://www.msnbc.com/the-beat-with-ari-melber/watch/top-gop-senator-defends-mueller-as-attacks-on-him-escalate-1121183811950

A few minutes later, Jim Jordan was on CNN, going on full offense from the word GO:

The fact these guys are finally getting airtime, means the MSM realizes this story has likely reached a tipping point for requiring coverage. They will push back as hard as they can, but can no longer completely ignore.

So supporting Mueller all this time, in the hope there’s a surprise ending in the end, that there’s no evidence of, at all, is what you’ve chosen to do. That’s not a question.

This is blood-sport time....these guys would have never went semi-rouge like this if they did not think there are high crimes by DOJ & the FBI.

http://www.wnd.com/2017/03/the-whistleblower-devin-nunes-must-hear-from/

Key to this investigation is a whistleblower by name of Dennis Montgomery, who as a former National Security Agency (NSA) and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) contractor left the spy agencies with 47 hard drives and over 600 million pages of information, much of which was classified, and came forward, under grant of immunity, to FBI Director James Comey.

This information, according to Montgomery, shows that the intelligence agencies, particularly under former Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former Obama CIA Director John Brennan and their minions, spied illegally and unconstitutionally on prominent Americans, including the chief justice of the Supreme Court, other SCOTUS justices, 156 judges, prominent businessmen like Donald Trump and even yours truly.

Indeed, in addition to the mass surveillance revealed by Edward Snowden, these spy agencies, during the Obama administration, spied on “anyone who was anyone” in terms of their perceived status in society. The presumed and logical likely purpose of this spying? The potential for extortion and blackmail by the Obama administration.

The goal of the firebrands in the Congressional committees is to get enough dirt out in the open that Trump can take control of the DOJ back from Sessions and Rosenstein/Mueller without getting impeached by nevertrumper RINO’s.

Based on the battle lines right now, it’s probably the only way the DOJ will ever be held to Justice, since they are the ones who typically decide who gets prosecuted. Or do you have a better plan?

Yeah. Holder’s Contempt of Congress citation was a real stinger! Meh.

Gowdy barks but he’s been doing this for years and nothing ever comes of it. No teeth.

No matter how much criminality these congressional hearings and investigations uncover and expose nothing ever happens to the evil-doers.

It seems to be nothing more than high theater to convince the rubes that something is being done while actually accomplishing nothing.

Maybe if the nation had someone like a chief law enforcement officer to follow up on the criminal activity that is exposed.

They could give him or her a grand sounding name like “Attorney General”.

Gateway Pundit has picked up the report, and added a video of Jim Jordon appearing on FBN with Dobbs:

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/12/report-house-republicans-holding-secret-talks-build-criminal-case-senior-fbi-doj-officials/

Rep. Jim Jordan: There are a couple of fundamental questions here. Did the FBI pay Christopher Steele? I asked that of the Attorney General two weeks ago he wouldn’t answer the question. Did they actually vet this dossier?… Because it’s been disproven, a bunch of lies, a bunch of National Enquirer garbage and fake news in this thing. Did they actually check it out before they brought it to the FISA Court which I’m convinced they did. And all of this can be cleared up if they release the application that they took to the court… I think they won’t give it to us because they did pay Christopher Steele. I think they did use the dossier as the basis for the warrants to spy on Americans associated with President Trump’s campaign… (Strzok) is the guy who took the dossier to the Fisa Court.

Mueller may be the first special counsel to be indicted for unlawful activity in the attempted political assassination of a sitting President.

The AG hasn’t given up this info because there are bigger fish to fry. You don’t want the bad guys to know everything you have on them. They need to squirm and guess what you have. Then they are more likely to make mistakes or perjure themselves.
