Should have a runoff.
Odd decision, not good that an valid election can be overthrown if the judge does not like the result.
If there was no fraud, 1 vote majority is a victory.
If there is fraud, prove it and reject those votes = A many-vote victory for the honest voters.
Wait, if its taken from the dem and given to the Republican doesnt that put the Republican ahead?

The ballot was a vote for both candidates but they struck out the vote for the Democrat
One vote win makes absolutely no sense and I'd say the odds are astronomical.
I love it! The Republican will draw the lot just so as to make Democrat worshiping media turn purple.
Democrats will just have to wait to raise taxes, register to vote more illegals and felons, and corrupt Virginian youth with gender-bender permits.
Rather have a duel.
Pray that the lot falls in favor of Yancey. They literally will flip a coin now.
You have to rerun the race with only the same voters voting.
Any outstanding military ballots?
Good.
It’s maddening that in every recount, Democrats *always* pick up votes.
Article says loser of the coin toss can demand a recount of the votes- again.
Not logical, but may be true.
The Republican won the race by 12 votes. Democrat picked up 13, and now 12 in the recount.
as long as the coin does not display “in God we trust” the dem will abide by the decision...
A three- judge panel declined to certify the recount of a key House race today, saying that a questionable ballot should be counted in favor of the Republican and tying a race that Democrats had thought they had won by a single vote... tied at 11,608 votes for each... In the case of a tie in a House race, state law says the winner is chosen by lot essentially, a coin toss, according to Virginia state law.Chosen by lot?!? What about lot's wife? How sexist! #MeToo
the winner is chosen by lot essentially, a coin toss
A recount was held and Simonds had 11608 votes to 11607 votes for Yancey. However, one ballot contained a mark for both Simonds and Yancey, but the mark for Simonds was crossed out. This ballot was initially not counted, but Republicans said it was clear that the voter intended to vote for Yancey and the Judge agreed and added the ballot, now making it 11608 votes for each candidate.
praying God moves the coin in favor of the GOP
