The Army-Navy game is special, unlike any other. As such, it requires a different introduction than say, Arkansas-Missouri. And I am thrilled to report that CBS Sports was up to the task. Heres the introduction theyll show before kickoff this afternoon. Its powerful without overstepping the line of self-importance. Most impressively, it puts the actual game in proper context.

If the AF Academy is so great why is there a shortage of over 1,000 pilots?
If the AF Academy is so great why is there a shortage of over 1,000 pilots?A pilot can make much more , with better accomodations, perks, etc. as a civilian than being overdrawn in the military.

Wow! Inspiring! Good job CBS.
Excellent!
I am shocked that this came from CBS - but I am very pleased and impressed. Everyone should send a thank you to CBS and let them know you appreciated it!
More perks as a civilian? Then I would suggest that the AF make it a six year enlistment following graduation from the Academy.

AF 1000 pilots short?
A very silly comment. You do realize the Army and Navy academies both produce pilots? The pilot shortage is affecting all of the services. The pilot population is a world wide asset. Shortages are everywhere. It’s gonna get worse. Not sure what this has to do with my original post?
