I drive my husband nuts by going on a CW McCall kick about once a month and playing the entire “Wolf Creek Pass” album.

Are you sure it is a Dart?
I had a friend in high school who had a 413 Chrysler with two 4 barrels.
In the song it is called a super stock Dodge which would not be the Dart.

Oh, no, you can't take my boyfriend's woody.
He can even beat you locked in first.
It don't look like much, but when he pops that clutch,
He'll make you think you're in reverse.

Unexpected Grace
December 8, 2017
In a vision, he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.
Acts 9:12
It was an early Saturday morning in my sophomore year of high school, and I was eager to get to my job at the local bowling lanes. The evening before, I had stayed late to mop the muddy tile floors because the janitor called in sick. I hadnt bothered to tell the boss about the janitor so I could surprise him. After all, What could go wrong? I thought.
Plenty, as it turns out.
Stepping in the door, I saw inches of standing water, with bowling pins, rolls of toilet paper, and boxes of paper scoresheets bobbing on top. Then I realized what I had done: While doing the floors, I had left a large faucet running overnight! Incredibly, my boss greeted me with a huge hug and a big smilefor trying, he said.
Saul was actively punishing and harassing Christians (Acts 9:12) when he came face to face with Jesus on the road to Damascus (vv. 34). Jesus confronted the soon-to-be-called apostle Paul with his sinful actions. Blinded by the experience, Saul/Paul would need a ChristianAnaniasto restore his sight to him in an act of courage and grace (v. 17).
Both Saul and I received unexpected grace.
Most people know theyre messed up. Instead of lectures, they need a hope for redemption. Stern faces or sharp words can block their view of that hope. Like Ananias, or even my boss, followers of Jesus must become the face of grace in these life-changing encounters with others.
A Christians grace-filled actions can smooth someones path to the Saviors presence.

I helped my grandad tear apart two very old jukeboxes that were found in a barn. There must have been over two hundred 45rpm records in them. We cleaned them up and then started to listen to some. They were WILD. I can’t list all of them but there was Crash Craddock - Boom boom baby Elvis, Beatles songs I’ve never heard, Johnny Cash singing on how he worked in a car assembly plant and stole some parts and made a car. Funny. We listened for hours to that stuff.

Even though I’ve loved Chuck Berry’s “Maybelline” ever since I first heard it in the ‘50’s, I’ve got to go with Ronnie and the Daytonas’ “GTO” since it was playing on LA AM radio stations almost constantly in the summer of ‘64 when I was 17 and behind the wheel of my friend from Buena Park’s 1964 Pontiac GTO. Midnight blue with three deuces and a four speed. 1,500 miles on the odo. Flat out snarling monster. Listen to her wind. Rev it up, tach it up, blow it out, GTO.
