At least seven Democratic women in the U.S. Senate are calling on Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota to resign after the latest allegation of sexual misconduct was published Wednesday morning. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, Sen. Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, Sen. Patty Murray of Washington, Sen. Kamala Harris of California and Sen. Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin each released statements or social media messages calling on Franken to resign.
In the latest allegation, a woman told POLITICO that Franken tried to forcibly kiss her following a taping of his radio show in 2006. A former Democratic congressional aide, who was not identified by POLITICO, said Franken pursued her after her boss left the studio. When she tried to avoid him, she claims he told her: "It's my right as an entertainer."

I don't see it in the Constitution, but maybe its in an added codicil not meant for the public.
Discussion?
He’s not- he’s a Senator.
He’s a DemonRat...hence, entitled scum.
And some people look towards Hollywood ans the gold standard for public morality.
What a sicko.
More of the powerful and elite ruling class like Franken who believe they are “owed” are being exposed as the swine they are.
If Sen. Murray of WA doesn’t like you.../s
He’d better resign.
I am the entertainer
Been all around the world
I’ve played all kinds of palaces
And laid all kinds of girls
I can’t remember faces
I don’t remember names
Ah, but what the hell
You know it’s just as well
‘Cause after a while and a thousand miles
It all becomes the same

Congressional swamp creeps.
We need to cut these elected creeps down to size....cut off the office budget tax dollars ....and eliminate committees where they throw their weight around.
They’ve got this entitled “lordly” way of thinking.
America fought a Revolutionary War to get out from under the thumb of the wretched monarchy......
.....and these perverts want to perpetuate it.
As a game of chess, Im not sure I want Franken to resign. It gives more power to the anti Moore crowd.
If Franken goes, the chances of Moore filling his term will be diminished.
Id rather have Moore and Franken in the Senate. Moore is a Rook, Franken a Pawn.
I dislike Franken as much as anyone———but there is no proof that he said that.
.
Why, oh why, are all these pervs so darned ugly?! Not that it would be ok to be abused by a handsome guy, but since Clinton and Ted Kennedy on, these guys are hideous mugs!
What he is accurately describing in his right according to Hollywood’s unspoken but fully practiced own rules. Directors, entertainers, those in power of any kind, have free license - accepted by all in Hollywood - to take sexual liberties at will.
What they are doing now is simply CYA and lie about these internal rules existing...
He too dropped out.
The communist female Senators are attempting to save their party. They know that people see which side of the isle has been conducting the REAL War on Women!
They want women to have access to birth control & abortions because their party has always seen women as objects of sexual gratification. Unwanted pregnancies is a complication that gets in the way of using women.
The Democrat Party is not a political party that has womens issues at heart and in time all will probably see that the screaming about the welfare of children is a lie as well.
Remember they always accuse the right of things that they are already doing!
No. We end the political SMEARS of the communist party! They dont have the moral high ground with respect to OUR candidates!
We are owed two mulligans anyway, if you will, for Ed Kennedy and Bill Clinton.
The commies can only police THEIR party now! Not ours!
I suppose that, until recently, Hollywood (and by extension the entertainment studios in NYC) and DC were effectively “sanctuary cities” that protected men who engaged in that behavior, so in that sense they were being granted that “right” in the past.
Ballad of Frankenweeny.
