I’m just so glad to have that monitor! Before that, I was awake most of the night just listening and going to her door to see if she was ok. At least this is close enough to wake me up. I’m a light sleeper.
She does seem to be gaining a bit of confidence every day when sitting up to eat. That’s a good step forward!
Yes, having the monitor has to be a big help. It gives you a chance to sleep a little, at least, between her cries and other sounds she might make. And IF she sleeps through, you get to too.
Great that she’s gaining confidence about sitting up. One step at a time and that’s a good one.
Work has been frantic the last couple weeks. It is supposed to rain 2 days next week with the nights below freezing. I hate warming in the middle of winter....makes driving to and fro more dangerous.
We just want her to do the best that she’s able to do.
I guess I’d better go. I’m really sleepy. *yawn* See ya for some tuneage tomorrow night?
Is it the baby monitor you have set up for Dulcie?
Did you have to wake her up to stop the nightmares? Sometimes just touching her, stroking her arm or face, will get through and she will be comforted.
Checking on her “just in case” will be a constant; goes with keeping her home. d:o) You are doing a good job.
ODAAT!
It sounds like she’s doing her best. The good thing is she’s moving forward; isn’t going in reverse.
Sitting here hoping you get an uninterrupted sleep tonight. Catch ya tomorrow evening.
Hey there, Kathy.
Did y’all get everything squared away? It would be nice if tomorrow is smooth sailing.
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. How's it going?
I hope so....I spent almost 3 hours at the dentist mid day (I forgot to ask how long when I made the appointment) to prep 2 teeth for crowns. When I got back the “special project” appeared. Once again we were tasked with doing HRs job, and it has to be done by Friday noon. Split it up for 3 of us, that turned into 2 of us.
Cora came back to work, but couldn’t make it all day. I am not surprised at all. Sitting at work and not thinking before you move around is how it works and she’s not ready for full-time yet. I finished mine about 7:30p. It was ok because it make up my time out of the office.
Ergh! I don’t know which is worse - - the “special project” or spending 3 hours with the dentist. That’s a hard one to call! LOL
Poor Cora. I wondered how it was going to work out for her going back to work so soon after her surgery. I hope she didn’t push her luck today.
Stuck doing HR’s job - - when you’re short-handed and have your own work to deal with. Retirement is looking better all the time, isn’t it? :-)
You were pretty quick tonight...good job with your second place.
((HUGS))
Good morning, Mayor....it’s almost here. I can see the weekend.
Thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
I do think of retirement more often...my tentative plan, and very tentative lately, (LOL!) is to work 2 more years. But we will see.
Good morning, ML...((HUGS))...hope the weather cooperates so you and Penny can get out for some walks.
Good morning, Janey...((HUGS))...one of these days I’m hoping for a nice quiet reading evening. LOL!
Many more weeks like these past two and that tentative plan could be shot out the window. LOL
Your job’s been pretty crazy for as long as I’ve known you but it’s gotten totally insane.
Two more years? Good luck!
radu.....#50!!
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...happy hunting with Bo.
You and Bo have a great Friday.
I haven’t heard details but I just can’t imagine how Virginia felt tremors from Dover. And we didn’t her in So. MD.
