I hope so....I spent almost 3 hours at the dentist mid day (I forgot to ask how long when I made the appointment) to prep 2 teeth for crowns. When I got back the “special project” appeared. Once again we were tasked with doing HRs job, and it has to be done by Friday noon. Split it up for 3 of us, that turned into 2 of us.
Cora came back to work, but couldn’t make it all day. I am not surprised at all. Sitting at work and not thinking before you move around is how it works and she’s not ready for full-time yet. I finished mine about 7:30p. It was ok because it make up my time out of the office.
Ergh! I don’t know which is worse - - the “special project” or spending 3 hours with the dentist. That’s a hard one to call! LOL
Poor Cora. I wondered how it was going to work out for her going back to work so soon after her surgery. I hope she didn’t push her luck today.
Stuck doing HR’s job - - when you’re short-handed and have your own work to deal with. Retirement is looking better all the time, isn’t it? :-)
