Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named Man (Person) of the Year, like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!
Perfect nominee for the TIME audience...
Harvey Weinstein!
Did Hitler agree to an interview and a major photo shoot when they made him man of the year?
YUP, he’s brilliant. TIME tried a ploy to force maximum access under the guise of “Man of the Year” interview and photo spread..... President Trump told them to F-off.
There is no other plausible choice this year for biggest newsmaker etc., they don’t have to like him (duh) but if they pick anyone else they will look really stupid, especially after this.
They thought they could dictate terms to the POTUS and he told them where they could shove their wittle wiberal wag, up their rear mouthhole!
Oh - that’s a good one, although perhaps he is lacking on a lot of detail.
I’m thinking Charlie Manson would make a better “Man of the Year” for TIME Magazine. One could write so much more about him. Include bits of his poetry and song lyrics, etc.
Time magazine is disputing President Donald Trump’s account of how he rejected the magazine’s request for an interview and photo sessions ahead of its “Person of the Year” issue. In a Friday evening tweet, Trump says the magazine informed him he was “probably” going to be granted the title for the second year in a row.
He tweets: “I said probably is no good and took a pass.” Later that evening, Time tweeted that Trump “is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year.” The magazine says it doesn’t comment on its choice until publication. Trump frequently brags about his cover appearances in the iconic magazine.
Colon Crapperdick....
I take Trumps word over Time. Every time. For all I know this was just another setup for Trump, by a Time or a Time affiliate.
'Ol Bubba has two horns growing out of the top of his head! How appropriate. ;-)
Yup, that was my first thought: Kaepernick. Or maybe the Las Vegas shooter.
In a perfect world, it should be President Trump - and Time would be honoring him, not ridiculing him.
I hope it is Trump, I figured they’d pick Mugabe or Al Frankenputz.
Oh yeah, I’m sure they showed him a bogus cover graphic with a blank cutout where his picture would go and a caption that said, “Most influential radio personality ever,” and “The man changing the face of America one listener at a time.”
The only surprise is that this cover didn’t give him horns, put his face through a blue filter to make him look undead, and make his eyes red like he’s on a 4-day drunk. This cover was actually good to Rush considering the hatchet-job DNC hacks that run every media outlet now. In the 90s, you could still see an article once in a while that was civil to conservatives. Of course, I didn’t see the inside article, either.
Check..MATE!!
Trump doesn’t need to be Time person of the year. He IS person of the year. Why should he need that lump of paper to say so?
In my 60’s college, TIME magazine was a free subscription.
LOVE IT!
Now he’s making pretend he’s an Indian. He moved on from making pretend he’s black....

Is any of those old news mags even in print anymore or are they all only on line now? Don’t know because I have not purchased one of them since the 1980s. I used to read the old US News and World Report many, many moons ago, like the 1960s, 70s and 80s, but none since.
