Democratic Minnesota Sen. Al Franken’s latest excuse for the groping allegations against him is that he is a “warm person” who likes to “hug people.”
Four women have now come forward to accuse Franken of groping their butts or breasts. One of the women, Leeann Tweeden, also accused Franken of forcibly kissing her while rehearsing a skit on a USO trip in 2006.
Franken released a Thanksgiving Day statement in which he attempted to downplay the allegations against him, while adding that he respects the “feelings” of his accusers. (RELATED: Al Franken’s Evolving Responses To Sexual Harassment Allegations)
“I’ve met tens of thousands of people and taken thousands of photographs, often in crowded and chaotic situations. I’m a warm person; I hug people. I’ve learned from recent stories that in some of those encounters, I crossed a line for some women — and I know that any number is too many,” Franken said.

It will be very interesting when Roy Moore wins. He denies everything and Franken admits everything.

Actually, he hugs body parts, not seeing the actual people they’re part of. And why should he see people as humans; he’s a liberal.

There is room to question Moore's guilt. Franken is a dead bang case.

He has muscular atrophy on his right arm.
You know, causes it to slip downward when he’s posing for photos. And peculiarly, when his arm slips his hand closes, gripping whatever it’s touching. An involuntary reflex.
It’s a handicap, but Republicans hate handicapped people so they attribute this physical disadvantage to nefarious motives instead of telling the truth!
Or alternatively it’s another symptom of spending too much time satisfying himself.
“Hug you wrong time,” with apologies to whoever said, “Ruv you wrong time.”
Well, Al could consult with Joe Barton on the protocol for finding consenting squeeze material.
